1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Benchmark results, food for thought

I think it might be worth your time to test another driver. Seems like SLI isn't scaling correctly for you.

The cpu usage thing is very odd but potentially directly related to SLI not kicking as it should. Also, try messing with the DOF settings if you haven't already.

+1 . You ARE GPU bound in a way, but for the wrong reasons (which is weird, i thought that sli scales better the higher you set your settings). But still, that cpu usage seems too low. You can also try with one setting at a time, you may find the culprit. Or its time to open an issue thread.

The thing is, when I drop some graphical settings so its not all maxed out, my SLI scaling and GPU usage returns to completely normal, the GPU's both stay above 90% during the whole test, with the 2nd GPU staying slightly higher possibly due to being dedicated to PhysX. Here is another test just ran with slightly lower settings on some effects, the AA, AF and World Detail are the same ...

CPU usage went back up to where I would of thought and GPU usage as well, I believe the CPU percentage is only calculated on the cores actively utilised by the game and not the CPU as a whole also. What the relationship is between maxed out graphics and cpu usage has me a little baffled at the moment lol.

It really is strange how the various settings actually end up impacting performance, it's really nothing like I expected for anyone so far. In confirmation of what Ody was saying, I've also seen myself become GPU bound in some fashion when crossfire is particularly unhappy with a profile I'm running. CPU usage stays abnormally low and both GPUs have low/erratic utilization.

I added maximum settings and minimum settings benchmarks to a previous post if you want to take a look, though it isn't all that helpful since my cpu percentage remained basically the same. Perhaps you might be dealing with one specific setting that makes SLI unhappy (edit:"And then same as above only with high quality/detail in mirrors being on", looks like you found the culprit, good testing procedure!).

AFAIK, AC doesn't use PhysX and moderate differences in GPU load aren't that uncommon. I think one card is still treated as the main 'controller' of sorts and possibly tasked with a bit of extra workload.

Just noticed the last poster (cooknn') seems to be experiencing a very similar thing as you are and is also running the same GPU config. It's good to see it's not a localized issue as it potentially makes it easier to solve!

If you guys don't mind, please both post your GPU driver versions. I think we can get this oddity resolved :)

*Edit: Wow, just noticed you guys are running the same CPU at almost the exact some clocks, too. 99% sure that's unrelated to the issue, just an amazing coincidence.

    HIGH QUALITY MIRROR REFLECTION

This is the culprit of the issue for me at least, my GPU's stay stuck on 99% and 98% respectively during the whole benchmark with High Quality Mirror Reflections turned off :)

The biggest thing I noticed with this bugger unchecked is that my FPS fluctuation reduced drastically between min and max.

Could you run another one for us with 'High Quality Mirror Reflections' off? Seems to be a CPU usage bug with it for some, though I thought it was localized to multi-GPU until now.... On the other hand, 12 logical cores may be skewing the CPU percentage. Not sure.

Still a bit confused by all these results.

Very interesting loading time results here, I figured most of the higher load times were due to mechanical drives ... would not of expected such a blow out from X86 to X64

Man that is exactly what I was thinking, I do not envy trying to figure this all out.

More interesting results, though I must admit I'm even more confused by the relative CPU and GPU usage than ever.

"If anything, perhaps these two specific settings should be reflected in the results?"

Couldn't agree more. Additionally, I think the logging should be started with a small time delay. A 'low' minimum contrasting with nice averages, max and low variance like you have indicates that the benchmark may be picking up something at the very beginning when it doesn't actually make any difference to perceived frame latencies. GPUs still 'spooling up' or something like that maybe.

*Edit: Good eye spotting the x86 difference. I was wondering why his loading time was that much higher. Very surprised by that, too.
The 560 looks like it's still running very well though!

Soorry guys. I exchanged "HDR" with "Motion BLUR" in my mind. So HDR recently was = that Motion Blur setting for me in this / my last posts. So please forget about, what I wrote about HDR in here !
In mind I only thought about Motion Blur, which should better be off. in terms for better FPS.

(I don't even find a box to check or uncheck it (HDR) anymore in the graphic options.)

Well, after all this mucking around with the Benchmark tool I have figured out what my optimal settings are for my rig/set up. I have found this little experience this morning to be rather beneficial to my game play so hats off to the Kunos lads for that :)

Below are the best results I have had at triple screen res without too much compromise, no HQMR, static reflections, FXAA OFF, HEAT OFF, Shadows High, Glare Normal and DOF Normal ...

    AC VERSION: 1.3.4 (x64)
    POINTS: 16648
FPS: AVG=113 MIN=3 MAX=236 VARIANCE=3 CPU=57% (CPU starts out at 72-73 and slowly comes down over the duration of the benchmark, still something more to this I believe after getting benchmarks with over 80 at the end ... also of note, the MIN fps certainly does not do any justice here, my FPS after the initial start, merely 2 seconds in was 103 and it never dropped below that)

    LOADING TIME: 10s
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti (5760x1080)
    OS-Version: 6.2.9200 () 0x100-0x1
