1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

So, I think you are a bully!
Do you really think over clocking your system will alter ACs physics engine? Poor boy.

My point is...regardless to what you're calling me...You only see the amount your display refreshes.
NOT how many frames are been fed to that display. Per second.

There's a thing with refresh rates... 60hz vs 144 hz. Display that on a low ms screen (~1-5 ms) and tell me you don't feel a difference. I don't believe you.

  12. From Wiki:
    Input Lag Syndrome:
    Input Lag Syndrome
, or ILS, is a crippling disease that affects the most serious of sim-racers. Only known cure is to spend as much money as possible on PC components, sim-racing gear, and monitor/projectors.

It sounds like everyone is experiencing Assetto Corsa a little different and some guys are better at adjusting to the conditions.
And why would it not be different? We are all using different computer setups, monitors and wheels. The fact that Kunos got it working as good as it does is a feat in itself.
That I understand. What I don't understand is some of the insecure comments, especially on Steam.

No. My way is the only way and the rest of you are just idiots, or delusional, or simply lying in a bid to make my life difficult. If you don't believe me I'll post a sarcastic meme to belittle you. Eventually you'll understand that I'm the best and the smartest and the prettiest and then you'll stop having opinions that aren't in line with mine. o_O

Aye ok out of them 60 screen refreshes you might see half of one frame and half of another(tearing)
edit: I have a 60 hz monitor, I will not see more than 60 full frames in any given second true?

  17. PhilS13

    PhilS13 Alien

True. But every single frame will contain NEW, fresher information below every tear when you have high FPS. That's important when you are mostly reacting to what you see.

I'm not sure who's more wrong? People who just don't get it or people who get it but keep pushing the idea that FPS above refresh rate is worthless?
    :)

  20. Sorry I have to disagree with you. There can't be easier car to drift than the Panoz in rF2. It is so forgiving you literally cannot lose the car. High speed or low speed, doesn't matter. rF2 overall is very easy to drift.
