yes fixed setup. if you edit the setup ini and delete all text apart from tyres=x you will only limit tyres.

just save a setup with the tyres you want ingame and then delete all other text in setup .ini

this is only needed when you cant do it via conventional method using sv st etc etc (see example above)

 

correct, the only issue is like what was said above. Is some servers have a "semi-fixed" setup, thus allowing you to change some things on the car. But you cant save them changes so every time you enter you have to remember what you changed last time.

 

Even though it's over a year old, this is still a suggestion that is up to date. Not being able to restrict the tyres per car limits us in the selection of cars we can run against each other.

The thing with the fixed setup is only a workaround with the drawbacks that others have already lined out perfectly.

So I would be very pleased if this gets implemented, e.g. as suggested in post #3 .
