1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Yeah it's a shame it cannot be forced server side. I was thinking a Le Mans 60's prototype night race would be fun when I saw your post but didn't think it possible to force nighttime.

    I am late to the party, actually I tried to install the night racing/reshade mod, but it seemed like it never loaded, so nothing happened. Could some one point me to a post with a tutorial on how to set the all thing with the latest update of the mods.
    I am a full version user of CM.

    For me worked by just going here: https://acstuff.ru/f/d/28-shaders-patch-dynamic-lights

    And clicking on the "Install using CM". Content Manager automatically downloaded it. Then go here

    On the Downloads section, it will have Install button. Then, if you go into "Mods" tab, you should see it named "Shaders Lights Patch"

    Another small performance drop, not unexpected considering new tire deformation.

    FPS: AVG=121 MIN=26 MAX=137 VARIANCE=1 CPU=50%

    FPS: AVG=115 MIN=8 MAX=183 VARIANCE=1 CPU=54%

    FPS: AVG=113 MIN=63 MAX=163 VARIANCE=1 CPU=56%

    Night conditions suffer much more though with significant fps dips and some inconsistent frame timing causing visual stuttering, headlights reflection from the cars in front are blown out too. Back to stock for now.
    Looking forward to the next version.

    I am very happy for you Mike, but there is a difference between running Ultra settings at 4K and 1080p, 4 times to be exact, and 1080Ti even overclocked and water cooled is not 4 times more powerful than your 1060, so you have more headroom to spare.
    I bet VR guys suffer the same.
    You can post your benchmark results with stock and modded shaders for comparison.
    780 was meant for HD, your card is 2 gens ahead, or monitor 2 gens behind by today's standards.

    Guess I am lucky to be poor then because it looks amazing while running butter smooth for me. Guess if I saw it in Ultra at 4k I wouldn't be able to go back either.

    TIP You can go to folder called "Extensions/config/cars" in main AC folder and configure deformations there. After applying a mod of course. Also there are no standards in Kunos tyres so one may be more poly rich than other. It is also affecting appearance.

    Occulus rift, Monza, MP,day time , 8 to 10 players , GTE /2 cars and ASW kick almost all the time .

    i7 8700k + GFX card 1070

    So experiment may vary between people.

    PS : 1080p constant 60 FPS, i wish i could drive again without VR :D
