Mod that seems to make night racing in AC possible? (Working headlights)

If you find black night too light try editing the colourcurves.ini I liked the darkness of clear to night (without any of the included pp filters) but had some light flickering issues so I edited black night and set the values inbetween the 2 and IMO it looks good. You can DL the 1 I made from near the end of the support thread for clear to night on RD.

Thanks for the tip I got it to work fairly easily. Seems it doesnt work in replay and I rarely drive looking at tyres but cool to see what can be done. For open wheelers seeing damage is more usefull. Would be great if we could also see different tyre compounds using this method.

 

Assetto4Seasons is what I have been using the last few days.

I almost never record from replays; lately I have just started live streaming and then YouTube turns it into a vid.

 

Yep, Ilya working on replays because without it all feature is kinda useless.
Also I asked him about visual different textures, he answered he will look into it. If you ask me I was sure that it is impossible. But with this guy, I dont know, he just dont stop amazing me now.

 

I tried to install it. But get a corrupt file.
Also CM will not install it.

Sim Traxx sent out the June newsletter and it has a dozen or so tracks with significant updates; you guys might want to check it out because these tracks at night are amazing! (and beyond difficult at times)
Transfagarasan at night with traffic is a blast!

I downloaded that file directly, as that is also an option. 7zip/Winrar both give the corrupted error

 

BTW: How exactly you're able to get the benchmark running with costum shaders and/or weather?

 

Custom shaders are always active, they just replace Kunos files. During benchmark, currently selected PP filter is used. This is how we measured increase in performance with Natural Mod filter in the past.
But no, this is not night run test if that's what you wonder, just regular mid day AC bencmark.

 

After testing Assetto4Seasons a bit more, starting to agree that brake lights should not reflect as brightly as they do daytime. Only late afternoon/evening/night/low light condition. Backfire illuminations are a bit too strong in daytime too, while they should reflect always something. Wonder if this is up to tweaking the weather mod, or the shaders itself. It shouldn't be on/off though, the later in the day it gets, the more they would start to shine (gradually)
