1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Nicki Thiim takes the Porsche 911 cup car for a spin.. AC, Iracing and R3

  1. Unevenness of the road surface adversely affects the straightness of the car and induces under and over.
These phenomena hardly occur in AC.
There is only a phenomenon that the car body shakes.
Is there a difficult track for bumpy?
Are there bumps to watch out for?
At AC, you do not have to care about them.

Would say a lot of F1 grade tracks aren’t that bumpy. Silverstone has some bumps, especially back straight and then there’s the Nordschleife

Indeed, idiocy run amuck ! Sadly this forum in general has become less and less useful for anything except pointless arguments perpetuated by man babies intent on flipping tables whenever something doesn't mesh with their warped since of reality!

    sigh...

Wake me up when ACC early release is available !

Have to agree. The suspension in IR is ahead off AC. Surprisingly god tyre feel also. Ive re subbed today after almost two years off. The AMG GT3 felt wery confident and after around 6 laps off Nordschleife I was down in the 6.33s on baseline set upp. Didnt see that coming! Last time I think I was around 7.15 ish, two years ago, hopeles off pace becouse fear off losing traction.

@Bo-Göran Larsson Well you have improved a lot in those two years then ! :D I also learned that in iR they keep making very radical changes to cars to make them more popular, or easier IDK, they are weird, they would put nearly modern tires for Lotus 49, just so it would be easier, except that it is not :D

There really must be something good about iR suspension. Each corner of the car feels more individual, car is less than a one block, has a little bit more little things going on. But as one guy in these forums said, it is not as good for bigger details. AC is better for driving on and over the limit, and iR seems better under the limit.

Yes thats right. The only different is Im driving with Fanatec pedals now. Not that its 45 sec faster but as I said you got a confident feel now in the cars. Ive tested the MC and the ford GT also. A lot more tricky and the rear will fail you at some point when under pressure. But the same thing happens in AC to. The different is that you dont have to wait 45 sec to cool down the tire and begin to race again in IR. Ive seen so many races with fast people in the hurracan who got their races destroid after overheating the tyres in AC. They never hardly recover to the race again.
