Dumbass me cut off the time (framing with the goggles is pretty random), but it's slow anyway (and on rsr)

I'll be back for a sub45, which should be easy enough, but I'm quickly burned out by the "nothingness" of driving Highlands

Lots of people don't like the Highlands road but it is one of my favourites. It has a good flow to it and the corners test your ability to carry speed.

Highlands Circuit?

Somehow it captures the feel of driving hard on a northern British road.

For folks who've never done that it may seem unremarkable.

I don't know. I've not driven in the beauty of France or Spain or the glory of Italy.

I did drive across 26 of those United States but that was more about the journey, the landscape and the fantastic people than getting the right foot in.

(blancmange suspension & auto gears don't help either )

New Zealand is pretty epic. Maybe Kunos should do a circuit on South Island.

But Highlands is the closest I can get to real driving I can relate to on my console. For that reason I love it.

It's A Kind Of Magic.

 

It's not that I don't like it, it's just a whole lot of full-throttle-and-not-doing-much-else, which makes every mistake in one of the few corners that matter even more frustrating

I spend like 99% of my driving on the nordschleife, so that's pretty much the polar opposite I guess

The McLaren is my friend, lots of effort went into this. Looking at previous results, it seems the only time either get close, or the couple of times I have beaten SGA, is on the wet.

Moody, console or not, bloody good time!

 

I definitely need more seat time. Not much racing in the wet to be honest.

Been tricky to get a lot of time in due to the flood. Hopefully the future allows for more time but with gt7 coming out tonight it may be difficult!

I turned the cloud cover to 0%; therefore no rain.

 

Currently little time for hotlapping, but here I am with my entry, even though not happy with lap.
I simply removed front ARB and adjusted PSI and lowered all around.

@moodyryder , a prize for entering both events, is clearly better away from home. What a Hotstint! I have had the pleasure of racing with him and I can assure you of his laser-focus and cool, metronomic speed around a circuit. Having poured all of that syrup, it may be that there is a slight advantage of platform….
Congrats to @TinPeach , his product familiarity and rapid improvements have led to P2 and he’s entered both events too.
@SlowGrayAudi takes third , the competition was stiff! Ferraris are faster? Thanks to him for the ACC WHC265 challenge.
