1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I am having difficulty getting under 1:27, I guess I can get a 1:26 with a perfect lap (if only).

    I have messed around with the setup but only seem to make it worse, anyone got any tips for setting this thing up?

    A pretty quiet day, all in all, a couple of new entries brings us up to a top 30 again, it should be a 31 but a submission has been disallowed due to incorrect ambient temperature :( Oh and one minor detail...A new fastest lap :cool:

    You could upload a video and maybe we can give some tips?

    1 of 3 things I imagine...

    . Bad controller settings (i guess only applies to pad on console.)

    . Over driving the car (if you cant get the car turned in and are crashing entering corners alot your probably over driving.)

    . Under driving the car (if your having to let off the brake or make lots of steering adjustment mid corner your probably under driving.)

    Be sure to use brake markers, you can also use markers for turn in point sometimes. Here are my brake markers for this track & car (i dont necessarily brake exactly at all these markers but they are my reference points.):

    If your still struggling try moving your brake point back allowing yourself time to focus on your line through the corner and getting some power down without spinning the wheels too much. Try and position the car so you can get power down as early as possible (you can always change up to a higher gear if the car wants to spin.)

    IMO until your close to the limit it is best to focus on exit speed rather than corner speed, if the corner is followed by a long straight, definitely sacrifice apex speed for exit speed!

    Second session improvement. Annoying running out of fuel on a couple of flyers. But fuel and tyres on, is how I'm rolling now. Hoping for 25's before the talent runs out.

    My tyre pressure is asymmetrical, everything else is not.
    You can see any assists I used on the RSR page I linked, this is info taken from their help/installation page:
    On the website you can see driving aids used by the driver on his best time.

    The application records details about the assists you used during your best time.
    Hover on the info button [​IMG] to get more information.

    RSR also uses its own corner cut detection so we are subject to 2 cut detections when setting a valid time on both RSR and AC timing.

    If it helps my last post tells you which corners i'm braking for and roughly where ;)

    Ok thanks. I'm using the g29 with the g27 shifter, and I see that you're using the t500 with the Fanatec pedals, so I think there's probably a few tenths there. The rest is just bloody good driving, I guess.

    By the way, would you care to post your tyre pressures?
