1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    It's quite something that a simulator can have a different set of physics for each platform, surely getting parity for the physics across the board is an important thing.

    I think the only physics differences should be tyres updated on 1 platform and not another or other physics improvements on 1 platform and not yet on another. If it isnt 1 of those i'd call it a car specific bug. I guess it is possible that this 1 is just an app issue or equally an actual issue with the max rpm. If you skip to 18sec in my video and 1 min 53sec in Graveltraps the car speedo looks to be the same in both cars but GT's app says 123mph and mine says 127mph. I might upload our laps side by side to see if we can spot an issue.

    I am thinking about a bug report in the console section so a comparison would be great...As it is, I was going to ask if I could use your video in that.

    It looks like 2nd is a couple of mph different as well...

    Nothing if not consistent.

    I feel strangely alone in actually quite enjoying this car. Definitely hates turning without loaded front wheels, and almost a bit heavy once it starts to understeer. But I do find it fun[​IMG]

    My advice,
    • brake but early position the car- full throttle, correct the exit with the wheel like if you feel that the car won't turn anymore just release the throttle then again go full throttle.
    • hitting all apexex is an must!!!!
    • be smooth
    • early on throttle -position your car nice for an full throtttle exit.

    I'm not in the 37 range I can do like 37.3/4 I've hade that time but messed up the last part so far 37.9, but I'll improve that's for sure.

    It won't make you faster.

    SC will help if you get your car into a position where you are (going) to lose control, but if you've got there, you're over driving the car............

    edit : just realised that my post doesn't really answer your question, so to answer, it probably doesn't matter, but I'd turn it off.

    A slight improvement. Received the gift of a sinus infection this week, so I haven't been able to turn many laps. It's funny how realistically uncomfortable driving while ill feels on here, lol.

    Yeah got it off now and back to basics, smooth and slow and slowly building the speed.
    Weird thing is I'm only a few secs off my best time and I'm going a hell of a lot slower than before
