1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Fun little car, typical Japanese chassis of that era, low power, and responds well to a bit of sliding (but not too much mind!), responds very well to a bit of tuning too.

    I was on for a 1:44 at one point but blew my load at the final chicane!

    anyway......

    I can't brake anywhere near as deep into the corners (particularly T1) as you do, I think it's a combination of using a pad, and the car having no ABS that might be the issue.

    I noticed this with all cars, abs or not; with pad seems that we can't reproduce the maximum brake power like you can do with brake pedal, and we lose time for this thing in many braking zone, specially on the straights.

    I always thought it's the other way around.
    If you can't apply max brakes, then obviously you are not applying the same pressure as guys with wheel+pedals, hence - in cars without ABS - you are not locking the wheels, which allows you to go faster into the corner than guys who have to brake earlier to avoid locking the wheels. Does that make sense?

    My focus isn't on car without abs, the thing is more easy to understand on car with abs, with clearly no lock; if a wheel user for example can brake on 100 m on a straight, i need to do this 5-10 m earlier, it seem a little distance but no, it isn't, and you lose a lot of time; anyway only in my dream i don't lock the wheels in car with no ABS :D, the power braking adjustment now help a bit, but with some cars is a hard thing find a perfect and clean braking zone every time without many trouble, it's like a lottery:D, but on the ae86 i have good feeling

    I give up. I'm slow as ****, might be better off with EURO TRUCK SIMULATOR.
    I believe my main problem is BRAKING, I always lock the tires a little bit.
