1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I'm trying to drive it almost like an Australian V8 Supercar right now. If you've seen them they tend to take a lot of curb. Now I don't take quite as much as they do but it seems to help a little to get this car's rear end to come around

    First timer here, great combo! Managed 1.57.768.
    Pretty much stock setup other then the brake bias at 70% and soft tires.

    Guess Dirt 4 will be on for the rest of the week. [​IMG]

    Be gentle with the throttle if you go anywhere near the curbs, the astro also offers no grip (you will hear the wheel spin up) I will try an post a several lap run (warts and all) if the PS4 lets me....

    My 2nd getting to know you run (15 minute clip) default setup, soft tyres -2 psi all round. I have changed the way I play of late, starting on cold tyres (lap not included) and just enjoying the experience of driving in AC (not really a full on hotlap attempt yet).

    Hopefully you can see some of my learning progression with this car at Imola!

    1.59.606 - improvment - under 2m,pretty happy with myself :D

    So i just found out that DS4 configuration n5 uses the right joystick for accelerate/brake, which is what i use in other racing games and since PS2 times.i hate the R2/l2 combo so this afternoon was like Button mapping arrived earlier for me :D:D its a huge difference,it feels like a new game and i improved my times in pretty much every car :D:D

    Was this part of the 1.14 update?im pretty sure none of the configurations had the joystick option...or,because of my poor eyesight,i drove 2 months hating the controls?:p

    Fighting hard for the 2:01 i took a closer look at the videos:
    h-shift versus paddles is my problem. But its o.k. with H-Shift i am to slow. Think i must learn a lot (heel toe for e.g.) - But its fun and i like to learn from the fast guys. Thanks for sharing the information!!:)

    No paddles for me, h-pattern and clumsy heel toe all the way! Pretty sure Bob is using a h-pattern as well and he is the fastest guy (right now).
