1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    If it could ever be possible, would you embark on an Indy 500 (?!) sim on the gmotor 2.5 engine?

    i dont really care for indycars at all. Well mainly its that i dont like a game for one car type eg F1, Indy, Nascar.

    GTR2 i got no enjoyment out of because i made several attempts to get porsche and ferrari back and well that went well, broke the hell out of it. Was more into the Race series. Though to be fair if i got GTR2 to work i would have likely played it a decent amount, modding changes everything

    never played GPL. I doubt id enjoy it, I'm not a fan of open wheelers.

    getting porsche and ferrari back is question of 20 seconds ... at least was last time I`ve tried (2015) .. sure you used google (first link if you search GTR2 Porsche and Ferrari)

    Back in those days sim racing was much more fragmented. We had current F1 games by EA, GPL for 60's formula 1, later Simbin with GT racing. Only the (semi-)arcade titles,like GT or Forza mixed the classes back then.
    AC is a pioneer.

    Bull****, i spent a ****load of time trying to get that game to work effectively, i got the cars back, the ui dies, the wheels stop working, this breaks that brakes. I was tired of its ****, after 5 hours of tampering and several reinstalls i was done.

    I honestly dont know what i did wrong because people are gonna assume im the person at fault.

    At the very least i guess you could say AC is a pioneer of actually working.

    that is a lot of unnecesary * :) sorry it is not working for you .. never had issues with it and since it hasn`t changed for a long time I wouldn`t expect issues just appearing .. I could try it if you`d like in few days ..

    maybe it was software incompatibility with something else i had, tbh its too late to try again for me, i just cant go back. Sorry for the naughty words, i was pretty mad back then and ive not got over it.

    The question is, would the rF2 engine be good to spark some good and entertaining new sim titles? Imagine ISI doing what the likes of Simbin or Reiza have done.

    Yeah, only they got gmotor2 to use at full extent. Gmotor 2.5 is much more superior. If ISI scores the Indy hit, there will be much uproar in the simracing devs world.

    well now they are on pMotor 2.something .. I`m not expecting them not to improve it even further to 2.somethinghigher :) .. also they won`t be using gMotor in Reiza2017 as far as I know ..
    Point is ISI is good at making engines but not really good at making games .. from my point of view ;) they are like Crytech or nowdays idSoftware of racing games
