1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I also wan't to add my 0,02$ since it's a serious topic on where the simracing genre is heading to. But it's not balloons, it happened much earlier. I demand! -Or refund, so better watch out- to delete sun entirely. As we all know simracing is a serious business and there's no time for fun. And sun reminds me of happy days or summer. We have to stay serious! Or arcade.
    A yeah I forgot to bash console crowd. See how there's sun in any console racing game? Yeah exactly, we don't want to play games, we are here to play hardcore simulators!

    With vibrating toys in front of a computer.... that's how serious you(we) all look so loosen your pants a little, hardcore simracers.

    I'm fine with balloons, and i'm all about serious business.

    What i definately don't want though is helicopters flying around "recording" me. How i put my mindset into sim racing, is that i'm on a random track day with my car, couple of folks there, not huge crowds cheering on me, and definatelly no helicopters and stuff. I also don't like Kunos banners :( They are immersion killers for me..

    The Sun! MEH!! It is the biggest let down in the whole game. It's totally too big and bright, I like my fusion reactors to be slightly further away. What we have here is (a failure to communicate) great for an instant sun tan - that's the real reason the driver is in all that space suit stuff. But I want to be free from this gigantic, pre supernova Sun.


    P.S. As for the banners, reddit has enough about them for all of us. Oh! wrong banners, you mean the flappy flags not the flappy admins. :p :D :)

    I've been to several races where there were actually several balloons in the sky.

    I wonder if the race drivers complained to race control if they could have them removed because they didn't like them... or let alone how they break immersion of the track...

    Oh oh.. Player 2 enters the arena. Maybe the retirement home will be the hardcore balloon simulator? Tbh. I could imagine there's a lot of interesting pyhsics, and so far I'm not aware of any serious sims on that field.
