1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Went back and tried many of the "old" cars after 1.3. Most of them feel so good now. The F1 GTR on Silverstone was awesome, and yesterday I tried the Lotus Exige S against 19 other of the same type on Donington. Green track, 20 degrees. Disregarding some frustrating AI moments, the car felt sooooo good now. Even the once infernal lift-off oversteer was now quite manageable and actually very fun.

    I never really liked it all that much. It did suffer from understeer, now, it's just like how it was described in car review shows. Nimble and controllable, like it's up on it's toes. At times it made me feel like there were claws in the tyres and they wouldn't let go of the track. It's very intuitive to drive now.

    The TC was a big surprise as well. It really is good now. I drove the 458 around the nords and at some stage I had to ask myself is TC on, that I couldn't be this good. Turning it off just made the car more playful, but still very controllable.

    I'm not sure, I haven't spent much time with wheel setting lately, I'll need to go over it all again. I have a fantec CSR, gain is at 90 I think and other than that I may have one or two steps of drift. I don't like adding any off those effects though, I want to steering to have weight to it and be as raw as possible.

    What do u mean by "one or two steps of drift"? Sorry, but I am still new here :) I suppose u dont use any of kerb, road and slip effects? Also "enhanced understeer effect" NOT checked?

    Sorry I thought you meant the physical wheel settings. In game everything is at defaults, gain about 90.

    It enhances the ffb effect when understeering. :p





    steering gets much lighter when you steer but the car doesnt turn. :D

    I am thinking about disable a road, slip and kerb effect :/ Ive never tried that (always had 20,20,30), but a lof of people here got 0% on them! WHat do u think :)

    Also I dont use this enhanced understeer effect :) my wheel is dfgt!

    I have tried the "Enhanced Understeer Effect"
    again now with Eperimental Gyro

    and i have to say it feels pretty damn good with the m4
    reminds me on older versions of the software before 1.0 ?

    it is supposed to be an artificial effect as far as i know, so nothing for the purist... but it feels good ?!? Maybe a tad bit weaker effect? :D IDK

    With 1.3 update came some changes in differential works. During driving italia and having "electronics" app on, shouldnt be there some logo of EDS ? I dont have any (there is only an abs logo, which is turning to yellow while abs is used). But I have EDS logo in car like P1. Is that ok?
