1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    This morning I wanted to break my record on Red Bull Ring with the Porsche 911 GT3 RS , it stood on 1:40.358 and in no miles and a 1000 light years away I could break it .
    Frustrated as I was and saying I never would play Assetto Corsa again:rolleyes: this afternoon I tried again with a fresh cup of thee and a brain full of bananas , baaaaaaaaaaaaaaang 1:39.578 :cool: just saying :)
    but now I'm back where I was with the 1:40.358 , now I want to break this record :D
    Nooops gonna go to Brands hatch with that car ...funk Red bull

    As I know people are interested in the PC vs Xbox One lap time comparison I ran exactly the same setup on the Xbox One and managed a 1:38.284 so nothing much in it for this challenge.

    A little break away from lapping and a look at the best sector times on RSR Live Timing helped me realise I had the most to gain in the 2nd and 3rd sectors so I put most of my attention there.

    All good fun once again.

    The Red Bull Ring looks glorious in Oculus Rift with a real sense of elevation change and hotlapping like this is the best cure for anyone with VR sensitivity. 5 laps here in VR used to make me feel a bit hot and uncomfortable, now I seem to have built up the resistance.

    When I was using the G27 Set the GTEYE was a great improvement, I followed that with a "Leo Bodnar" cable directly to the PC this improved the pedals signal to a much higher resolution and then I replaced my "pots" with Hall effect sensors bringing the accuracy up. Unfortunately I do not think the last two mods work with the consoles but the fourth mod was installing a DIY hollow core silicon stopper within the spring this added that extra firmness to the brake and could also be no problem with the consoles

    Looking like we are going to equal the record number of entries at this point as well :cool: I guess this is due to the game being on sale recently ;)

    Can someone explain how ghosts actually work guys?
    When in hotlap mode sometimes it shows up, sometimes it doesn't
    I just don't get it, I guess it is related to your replays, which I always save whenever I get a PB lap, again, how the hell does it work?!
