1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    correct :
    1. Added rear vertical fin for Lotus 98T
    2. Updated Lotus 98T performance envelope by tyres, diffuser and front wing ride height sensitivity and other changes.

those changes arent available on ps4/xb1... yet.

Most likely yeah, but before we got all cars updated to V10, there were some cars outside of Porsche packs and GTs that have been updated to V10. For example Corvette C7 and M4. So I said I'm not sure because although I don't remember anything about 98T it might be similar case.

Not sure what's the reason of not implementing the same info on loading screen as on PC, but then there are more options missing on consoles. Maybe it's related to different GUI. Anyway... I hope you guys get all the missing updates earlier than soon™.

I didn't know that the boost is low by default, no wonder my time is slow! Gonna get boost to 100% tonight and see.

I am normally last anyway, but still my time is too slow, how I will handle the extra boost I don't know when I just about managed on low.... Fun though

2:02 is my fastest time after a +/- half hour of trying. Full throttle in 2nd or 3rd gear is not the way to go. I will learn from the pro's and give this one another try and upload a new time with screenshot.

My TH8A shifter is fastened very well onto the Playseat otherwise it would have flown through the room several times already :p:D

On the plus site, it does give me genuine reason to use the rotary encoder I've assigned to Turbo Boost on my new Derek Spears button box!

It may be worth working up to the maximum boost level, it could be less frustrating this way...

This is a do as I say, not as I do piece of advice ;) :D

Bit embarrassing but hopefully improve once I learn to be a bit more gentle on that throttle.
    Loving it though. Thanks GT.

This car is faster than my brain ... don't think i can go to the cars limit. But maybe i can improve my setup a bit to get another second out of it. We'll see.

Question, what is faster, tyre consumption off or on?

IMO i think we must avoid unrealistic setting like that, faster or no ;)

Sure realism is the way to go but I will like to know what is faster and what is the difference between them. I think it was previously disqussed with the toyota but I didn't understand well the difference. Maybe gravetrap or other experts will say it again.

    V8_KB Alien

Despite the fact of using unrealistic setting for whatever reason, in most cars it's not a good idea to run with tyre wear off. The reason is that the tyres need e.g. a lap before getting to their optimal grip. This Lotus is one of them. That also depends on how your first lap looks. For example the 911 Cup @ Silverstone needed hard weaving throughout the whole lap to get to optimal grip. With "normal"driving it would happen on the second lap.
There are some cars that start with 100 grip right away, mostly street ones.
So on one side your tyres don't wear, but on the other they aren't working with their optimal grip.

It's really hard for me to measure where my limits and the limit of the setup are this week. But it's really, really fun ... amazing car, works perfectly on Spa Francorchamps.
