"Public beta" 1.0.1 - Build 3877818

In V1.0 & beta V1.0.1 and generally on the first time you enter the server list it hangs and will return no results. I've tried waiting 10+ min. I am running 1.0.1 and on multiplayer it was ok, however after completing a 25 minute online race that appeared to have people crash out I was ok and able to complete. Every time someone joined lobby it froze on around 4 occasions which is incredibly annoying and disappointing especially when in a corner. After I finished the race and exited to menu to start a single player race at spa I got the fatal crash error

 

Just for info - carriere mod no long works. Have to begin a new one....

 

I know that wish lists are not welcome, and that rightly so at the moment the development is focused on other, but there are possibilities to have:
- the text that shows the information while driving at the top of the screen instead of at the bottom (that part is often covered by the Crown of your steering wheel)?
- something (even a led) that shows when the pit limiter is active or not in the HUD?

 

I downloaded the beta and still had the game freeze twice.

 

The 1.0.1 update is mainly to fix the fatal errors which for most people have helped, whats your pc specs, as freezes can be an issue with hardware.

joined on my own server but no chat worked and I was about 3 seconds long then looked invisible .... server restarted and crashed at the join
... ;-(

 

Tried to "save" from menu in career.

Quitted the game to main menu: career- resume - crash. (Game crashed)

Went to load the game again - Didn't save nothing. (Basically restarted the event)

 

Also had an (awesome) CP race with 1.0.1 beta version which have been working flawlessly, except the join lag, but in CP this affects only the practice session. I have had a lot of crashes on thursday, so it seems to be a good step forward.

Oculus Rift CV1 , Multiplayer , our comunity server . Maybe one hour of practice was good ... after Q start .... second lap on zandvort after T3 complete freeze ...whole pc turns into potato ... First time needed hard reset (unreal engine fatal error reporter tab pop up)

 

Also; In the career mode my name isn't containing any special characters, but after Q2 it shows <No name>

Btw, if you do fix the career mode. Please make it so that people doesn't lose their progress, thanks!

E: In timetables in Q2, it shows my name normally.

Was in a Monza lobby during qualy, game froze just like it was doing since release. After starting ACC again I joined the same lobby, but now it was almost empty, so I guess everyone had the same problem. Rest of the qualy and race had no problems.

 

No Fatal Error since latest beta but...
20 min Race at Monza. Leader finished the race. I was in the last corner and then the screen went black and ACC crashed.
Attached you will find the crash log.

 

MP works better so far, no freezes yet, but there are huge stutters, probably when people are joining the server.

Also found another issue - I was just about to get back to garage from the pause menu when the server changed sessions. The menu got stuck on the screen, doesn't disappear when driving, and can not control it. Had to force close the game from the task manager.

 

Testet the version 1.0.1 too. Done 3 races including 1 hour competition race without any issues.

BTW: How can I go into the pits for Stop&Go penalty without doing a full pitstop?

 

Any chance that increased driver stints in endurance championship mode will be added to this patch before it's public release?...

Have tried a couple of online races tonight (VR) and no fatal errors.

Had one freeze on join of server when it re when it re when it re when it re when it re when it repeats the pit engineer voice over and over and the VR view stays in a window and doesn't properly initialise.

But no fatal errors. Apart from by idiot drivers causing collisions I couldn't avoid and damaging my SR even further!
