1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    hehehe thanks, im not sure what the differences are between PC and console versions at the moment. im certainly not an alien though, i get beaten by my friends online on a regular basis :p

    i'll upload my lap, i think my track limits were sportsmanly. i'll add the video to this post shortly.

    my thoughts on the car... traction is good, it has enough torque that you can get away with a higher gear when you need to as well. watching my replay back i can barely even hear when im part throttle the moment the car is straight you can pretty much pin the loud pedal above 2nd gear. brakes are good but i find it helps to use plenty of engine braking, i dont have to pay the bill for a new gearbox :D it really doesnt like mid corner throttle, tie your leg behind your back or get a friend to hold it away from the throttle until the exit is in sight, if you do apply some throttle mid corner be gentle or prepare to take the scenic route through the shrubbery on the outside.

    I will say when I was editing my lap I did have the thought that a low 33 should be possible, but that's a 32 haha. Good on you man, looking forward to seeing the lap, I find watching really helps me find places I can improve.

    Ok for the "slow sods" BMW competition after 25 laps I have 1:40.119, pretty sure I can get a couple of seconds off that...

    No setup apart from reducing the fuel to 5.

    Eyes will be opened now ;) I've always know I would be about 1.5 / 2 seconds off the very fast guys pace but the game or this forum doesn't seem to of attracted them on console yet...

    If someone could enlighten me on these pro settings it would be appreciated, it seems to make sense to adopt what is already in place.

    It really is time for a new thread, it's going to get confusing if people start posting times for different events in here, especially at the rate this one has grown by of late! @John Gordon do you want me to do it?

    RSR Pro is 26c and factory aids only (unless using keyboard and mouse, or shifting H box cars with paddles.) Input method and driving aids can be seen at the driver list screen on RSR.
