1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    It is simply a case of what is faster, I experiment with gears for certain corners to figure out what works best for me. Usually a gear higher or lower when a gear is right at it the edge of its useful range, a higher gear can help putting power down as mentioned by the Pumpkin, this car it would see less TC intervention.

    I am still undecided on one section of this track, if it is better to bounce off the limiter in 2nd, shift up at max revs or short shift to third (a gear shift costs time remember). That decision is variable depending how well I exit the previous corner.

    Edit, I think we have a record number of entrants this week :cool: I am always surprised that interest is being maintained for some reason!

    was late to the party on these weekly's , only done wk5 & 6 but loving the challenge , never been that fast but these are good at pushing you to finding time and trying different lines to get a few tenths per corner.

    dont think I've got much left time in me for this week but will try again tonight.

    keep these coming and looking forward to next week already

    Know where you are mate I stay in East Kilbride, 30 mins the other side of Glasgow.

    Ditched first gear and was able to improve lap after lap for 5 or 6 laps or so. Got it down to a 1.43.097, nearly a second quicker than my previous post! Really wish I had more time to play as it certainly wasn't a perfect lap and I know I could get into the 1.42.xxx.

    Guys thanks alot for the tips, setups and Graveltrap cheers mate for organising the whole thing. Had a blast this week but Im afraid thats gonna be it till next week, excited to see the combo already;)

    How do you adjust traction control? I just have off on or factory as in setups you have between 1 and 4, where do I do that from?
