1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Maybe we could have two, both with same track, one with one of the new Porsches and one with a standard car?

    Wouldn't this mean we would all be required to purchase the new porsche pack.. Not that I mind, I plan on buying it eventually anyway. But it may alienate a few members.

    Also, I like the idea of two cars/one track.. Silverstone GT would be my suggestion :cool:

    But is there any way that one of the vehicles could be one of the retro HP monsters, Ford GT/Cobra/Ferrari... with no TC, no ABS, and no Stability? I'd love to see a few videos of some of you front runners getting a little sideways through the corners.

    Big no, no, for Porsche, as this would divide the community that's taking part in the WHC.

    May I suggest Ferrari 312T or Lotus 98T :D this should be fun for everyone :)

    Bit disgusted with myself this week!! Thought I'd get an 18.999 but no luck. Second sector is where I seem to lose most, split is usually 1:42.5-43.5 where under 41.999 is needed for a decent(for me)time!

    Waiting on an update ;) No point starting #9 until that happens.

    The plan was going to be to use the free car, but Microsoft seem to have thrown a spanner in the works on that as the X1 patch seems to of been delayed.

    So a rethink is required, I do feel that we have been on slicks for the last two weeks so a return to a road tyres is really required but we also need to run a single seater at some point.

    Tracks we have left are Monza, Barcelona, Vallelunga and a shorter variation of Black Cat.

    A return trip to Silverstone but the classic variety is on the cards once Microsoft catch up!

    Edit: Just seen the post, bit of a shame. Also a bit of a shame that the XB1 not saving bug isn't listed in the fixes :(

    Without actually being able to see what tyres people are using it is a little difficult to force a specific type :( Mayboe one day it will be possible.

    Squeezed in a half-hour last night just before some F1 league racing and found some decent improvement over my previous best.

    I really enjoy this challenge series and wish I had been able to take part sooner. Suits me perfectly that there is no pressure on when or how much you put into it. You can spend as much time as you like or if time is limited like with me you can still get involved. Perfect :)

    Seeing as there's no difference in the tire models anyway, who cares!

    Of course that's just my limited experience with changing the tires on a handful of cars and not noticing a difference.

    Huge difference in compounds, but you have to be able to extract the performance out of them to notice!

    I'm not sure, I think I usually have it off.
    I DO however feel a difference after I do a lap, things feel a little grippy-er the second time around :)

    Does tire wear make a difference? I thought it was just wear, never right it could affect the initial model.

    And BTW, 3 hours left for?
