The GTE cars do handle a bit better maybe but, the FFB is quite improved over the GT3 pack. I didn't notice how much until I tried a GT3 car again and it was a big difference; I won't even drive the GT3's now until they fix that.

 

March 761 and Brabham BT44B are fantastic.

 

Do they match each others performance?

 

At my hands , the Brabham BT44B seemed 1-2 seconds slower but I drove them for 10 laps each so I am definitely not sure.

Granted it has been a few months since I last fired it up, but when I did the AI couldn't complete a lap at Lime Rock, there were super bright patches of whiteness on every track, and no matter what settings I used I always had a micro-stutter that I could never get rid of. All of that, along with looking absolutely ugly, equals a broken game IMO.

 

Yet I don't have any of those things. Do you want to buy my unbroken version?

 

Very nice detail on this track but, I wonder if it's been optimized as I get some pretty significant slow-downs in VR. The bumps are more intense than I had expected and it's easy to see why the 12-hour race is such an endurance test for man and machine. If this LS version represents the RL bumps accurately, then all versions I've tried to date certainly didn't do the track and surface justice. I've driven a few versions of this track quite a bit in the past but, it's still going to take some time to get all the turns and combos just right, not to mention some serious tweaks to the car-setup's. It's really challenging and even more so, for those using motion; I can see fatigue being a factor in longer sessions while running mine at higher settings. So far, so good.

 

And here again, the fan–boy in full bloom.

Damn... I was playing with the idea to buy the BMW M8 GTE and Sebring to see what the latest content looks and feels like in rF2, but 14€ for a track and a car thats just not worth it for me, I don't play rF2 enough for that. I guess I'm waiting for a sale and then will reevaluate.

 

I’m waiting for rF2 to be a complete package.
That said, I will probably reinstall rF2 with reiterated UI...

Good luck. S397 only follows big steam sales' patterns. No sale for sebring before xmas A tiny probability for halloween sale but i wouldn't count on it.
