Beta update - new content tomorrow?

Silverstone, one of the most boring F1 tracks in the world with Barcelona.

I hope the second track is Trento-Bondone or something exciting.

 

No GT cars this time?!

 

I like the new layout of Silverstone, before that the track is pretty boring but now I like it...

 

Yeah many other tracks in Britain I prefer. But it's famous, so I guess it's a must.

 

Hillclimb will be not in nearest update . It is confirmed via Twitter

 

Donington, Oulton park, Cadwell, Brands Hatch... laser scaned. THAT would be awesome

Silverstone is not my favorite, but it isn't bad should be fun.

As much as I enjoy the Lotuses in-game and like them in real life, I think we need some variety in this regard. The Lotuses are by definition all very similar, light car with go-cart like handling, while there are of course nuances etc. they are all generally more alike than different.

Basically what I am trying to say, is that I would like to see an old-school Ferrari (F40 wink wink) or something to that effect rather than additional Lotuses in the short-term.

That said keep up the good work devs. Looking forward to tomorrow and the 12c.

 

I woudl also prefer "close to zero speed" physics update (yes, burnout is part of it), but I HUGELY appreciate Kunos's work, and understand that bugs are a necessary part of beta versions. Roll on tomorrow!

 

I used to think so too, but have gradually changed my mind about it. Not sure why, but I quite enjoy racing on it nowadays. The new layout that is.

Are we sure we get more than one track this time too? How long can they deliver two tracks a week addmittedly Silver is not entirely new as we got a large part of it already. Monza we know will come, but when..

 

Silverstone in AC is my happy place, 8am for lovely morning sun ambience. Can't be beat in my book.

Tried it on other sims and just hated it, way too boring and dare I say icey (take cover ). But in AC it's a delight!

 

Tracks are just a matter of taste, but as with most things in life, if you know something better, even things you like can lose much of its appeal.

The Nordschleife, Spa and few other tracks and some phantasie-/road/city-tracks simply made some other tracks mediocore or ruined them completly for me.
Usually you make new levels if you make a new game. But not that only real tracks usually are used in sims, but often the same. Cause Forza 1 and 3 I dont like most tracks from it anymore.

Anyway: I dont like that like in games different version of the same car (expection: race/street-version) are counted as a whole car (seee Elise's, Exiges's, 2 Eleven's and Evora's in AC) and different track-layouts as single tracks (besides drift and drag-tracks).
Wish that would generally stop in advertising.

I hope Kunos will release every car and track seperate with the dlc's, so I dont have to buy things I dont need or literally hate with things i urge for.
Example: Nordschleife (love it!) with Laguna Seca (hate it...). Just wated to mention this somewhere, without making up a thread.

Anyway, the phsyics in AC make even less appealing things something better, thats right.
Till I suck I urge for the Ai.

Silverstone is great for driving on I imagine. For spectating its rather poor. Lots of high fences and at many corners you need binoculars to see the cars. However on the plus side the grandstands are often free (for the small / medium sized events) and its really easy to get in and out of and to park etc.

I personally would much rather see Donington, Brands Hatch, Oulton Park and Thruxton in AC, (in terms of UK tracks). Others like Portimao, Jarama, Road Atlanta, Interlagos, would all add value to AC.

I see a MP4 -12C on the Facebook page yesterday along with a "beat the stig" heading. Surely. Maybe ???

I read above a call for Thruxton. What a track. +1 for Thruxton.
