1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I wonder if the bonus pack will be free or if they will sell it. It sounds like its for free but bonus could also mean bonus to the ones with the dreampack DLC o_O

    nvm, they have said that the Audi will be free content i think

    Nahh, bonus will probably completely free.
    They've probably bought the model from panky and since that model was supposed to be a mod (free) they'll release it for free together with 4 other cars which are on the free content list. Or maybe another surprise car.

    Great news. And those news are great because this mod (waiting for confirmation from @pankykapus ) need proper physics.
    And i don't want to be an *****le but @the_meco's OFFICIAL Cobra drives so much better than still modded versions.

    And this is the Achilles' heel , physics. Only few of them drive well.

    This is why I don't touch modded AC cars with a barge pole. I am just not confident that the physics will be accurate, although I appreciate that I am being a hypocrite after saying that P&G3 (a GTR2 mod) had the best car physics a couple of years ago ;)

    There are mods that have excellent physics. It's just that most mods, indeed, don't.
    Tbh, the IER Oreca & DP have excellent physics. With the Oreca being the best modded car out there imo.

    Haven't name them did i? Some indeed are excellent.

    On the other hand knowing that the car i drive is official so it drives as the real one , is what fascinates me on this game. There is just some magic stuff in @Aristotelis .

    The Cobra physics are basically the same as the mod version. The main difference is the comp car has a bit less drag, more low end torque and defaults on vintage tyres where as the S/C defaults to more modern tyres ( all based on real world data ). Aris didn't change to much so it's not like modders are making stuff up, we did a lot of research ;)

    the only or at least biggest difference between moders and Aris is that we only can use what tools we have, whereas Aris can add more stuff into physics if said car needs it
    which you can't do as modder
