1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Just tried AC in VR

    Dont know if you are aware but if you use the oculus desktop you can control AC with your mouse so do not need to remove the headset to see the screen (you see your desktop/AC in VR)

    I like forced 45fps, ASW enabled, I enable it in Oculus Debug Tool, it works, but I have to set it every time I start my PC. Is there a way to set it for good in AC?

    Wouldn't it be quicker to use the CTRL + 1/2/3/4 keys instead of setting up the OTT every time?

    Hardly surprising considering the similarity in specs and disparity in price.

    I'm very happy with the Vive, but doubt I'd make the same decision if I was buying now.

    Having recently acquired a gtx 1080 ti, I can now run my DK2 with everything at max in AC, 1.5 ssd, -1 map load plus light shader including vr mirror, real mirror at a very solid 75fps even on demanding mod track.
    As I am now considering upgrading to a CV1, Those of you enjoying a CV1 with a 1080 ti, what compromise, if any, do you have to do to have a solid 90fps?

    So, in your system, with the Odyssey, with no other car as to not affect CPU, you can reach a stable 90 fps with your GTX 1080 ti with everything at max as long as you don’t use light patch. What ssd and what lod map bias?

    Depending on the car it runs 12-15 cars grid 90fps with settings posted in the linked document.
    Some high res mod cars (RSS) and openwheelers can temporary send HMD into reprojection (same as Oculus ASW) but it's all good after grid spreads out, usually after T1-T2. All Kunos cars seems to be much better optimized.
    Number of opponent cars have great impact due to graphics engine rendering them via single thread, not physics calculations.

    This mirror app looks stunning while ingame, the mirrors actually have depth and move with head, amazing! Zero performance hit either, as far as i can tell.

    I find that if I run a mix of cars, I hit the 99% warning with fewer cars than with all the same, which leads me to believe that physics load increases with a mix of cars, as apposed to all the same.

    If you run AC rendering stats app you can see how much load is on a physics thread and how much on rendering (main T). For me Main-T hovers around 93-97, while physics at around 27-30%.
    On flat screen physics load stays the same while Main-T (render) drops to 45%.

    Unfortunately AC is single threaded issuing these draw calls, so based on the number and complexity of opponent cars can easily bring on its knees even the most advanced CPU as it can utilize only single core for that task.
    Hopefully ACC in UE4 will be able to do it in multithreaded fashion, we'll see in October.

    Sorry if this has been asked before, how would VR performance in AC compare to triple screen performance @5760x1080? I think the concrete question would be if you can achieve 90 FPS in VR with similar settings with which you can achieve 60 FPS on triples. Does anyone have experience switching from one to the other?
