1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

So I'm posting here cause I'm on my phone atm.

Everytime I goto racedepartment.com on my phone I get redirected to another ad website ie (cut the rope, sexy girls etc etc) this only happens on my phone, and only when connected to the mobile network not on wifi. And only on race department.com

    Anyone else have this issue?

I have the same issue, but only when I'm not logged in to my RD account.
Try to create a RD account and stay logged.

Go to the site feedback forum and make a thread warning the admins that they could be getting hit with a malvertising campaign

I was going to say something like that too. "Stop playing silly games and clicking on the sexy girls bait stuff" but unfortunately the internet or big brother is not as clever as it is portrayed to be. Still the age old "throw everything (that pays) at the masses and something will stick" advertising mantra.

Often the problem is on the carrier side. I have had similar problems recently (after i changed the provider) with random popular sites. No p0rn sadly, just ads and infinite redirects.
It affects the browsing randomly, it's not a rule. One day without a problem, the next i can't browse.

I solved the problem installing Adblock on the phone (a safe browser that is not affected by this crap).

  11. can confirm I had this as well last year while in the philippines. No redirects, but additional dodgy ads added on regular webpages. I remember unplugging all the computers and phones in the house, starting a fresh installed Unbuntu and I was still getting additional ads. Solved with an AdBlocker (which I am not happy to use because it removes revenues from the ppl I follow on youtube).. then it went away by itself after some weeks.

Yeah this is due to the malvertising crap which has been going on recently, the security blogs i follow have been going crazy about it in the past 1.5years, its been affecting massive sites as well.

Lol, why would I want to stop that. Anyway the point was it is random ads, as I've never had cut the rope on this phone. Or sexy girls, if it was lol cat ads, that I could understand.

I've let them know. Cause it maybe just my phone, but it's strange how it is just on that site and only when on 4g

  16. Last year ARRIS routers had backdoors problems, this issue was exploited (changing the DNS), so when you were browsing this could change the address to some ad sites. The issue was massive. All my devices had this problem, you should call your internet provider.
EDIT: If it is in 4g maybe when you were on wifi the cookies was stored. Try to clean your phone. I'm not an expert but maybe this solves your issue. When I had this problem and I used 4g the issue didn't show up.
