Yes, it's still offered. I did one back in December with Bram (the head guy at RD) but he's currently laid up with a broken ankle and not able to do the class, but a couple other guys are trying to get one going soon. It's aimed at new racers and covers some of the basics but I managed to learn some stuff even though I've been doing this for 10+ years.

I've not heard of this conversion issue so I can't offer much advice, but I've not heard of anyone having problems with their premium memberships. If there is an issue I'm confident the bosses at RD would get it rectified as quickly as possible.

The U.S. based events would kick off at 8pm your time with the race starting at 9pm, if you're ever looking for anything later in the evening.

Same here. I have to work pretty late recently and get up 5:30 am every day. That's why in the past few months I could only do Friday / Saturday night RD races, or join EU races on weekends.

 

I've known and raced with @BrandonW77 for the better part of three years now, and when he told me he was going to start organizing races at RD, I signed up immediately. I'm in the US and the Paypal process was buttery smooth, no problems with conversion rates at all.

I've participated in probably 20 or so races so far and they've all been clean and fair. Highly recommended.

In the Race Department AC Club Racing we're offering a pretty wide variety of events:

• from the old school historic to the fastest modern cars
• from single make series to multiclass races
• from sprint 20 mins to semi-endurance 2h races
• from official Kunos content to the best AC mods available on RD database

The week schedule is:

1. Monday: Historic/Vintage
2. Tuesday: DTM 90s (*)
3. Wednesday: Various single make series
4. Thursday: Porsche Carrera Cup
5. Friday: Modern open wheel
6. Saturday: Blancpain GT3
7. Sunday: WEC multiclass LMP1/GTE (**)

(*) Sporadically alternated with VLN/Nordschleife themed events
(**) Sporadically alternated with historic endurance multiclass events

Unlike the typical mess at T1 that usually happens on public servers, in the RD Club Racing some rules are enforced, in order to have fair and clean behaviour.
The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed with mutual respect both on track and particulary in Teamspeak, where, apart mucking around, we share driving and setup tips.
Teamspeak is not mandatory of course, but recommended.
Currently RD is running AC dedicated servers located in EU and US that host the events according to their respective timezones (the EU events usually start around 20.00 GMT).

 

For any North American region players we're racing the Porsche GT3 Cup at Monza tomorrow night at 8pm EST. Still plenty of room left, come join us!
