1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    His is the non-XT with flashed BIOS, but that still has less only 36 compute units compared to the 40 of a XT card.

    So 84fps average seems about right for a flashed non-XT.

    the first trend is an increase in standard resolution of about 60% (compared 2070super with 3080 / ~ 100 fps -> 160pfs)

    I know the max FPS are lower than of your 2080TI. Could it be that your 5 Ghz 9700K makes a difference?

    I'm brand new to pc, am approaching 5 hours on ACC, and still trying to get my head around all this...but absolutely, and I have receipts:

I'm trying to copy it at 13:08, but it has ignored it all together, copied at 12:26, and 13:22. I give up. Scrub to 13:08 if it doesn't work right this time]

    When I read your comment, I was thinking "where have a heard someone talking about the 8700k bottlenecking?" Took me a minute to find it, but that's what I remembered seeing. Granted, he is talking about how much the 8700k was bottlenecking the 2080ti, but if it was bottlenecking the 2080ti, it is HUGELY bottlenecking the 3080. The whole video is worth a watch, but I linked it where it was talking specifically about the 8700k.

    I went down this rabbit hole, just trying to find out if ACC had a benchmarking mode built in, like F1 2020. I found this thread and your question bugged me to death because I knew I'd heard that somewhere. Now at least, I'll be able to sleep tonight. Ha!

    I'm not going to bother with 1080p because.. well... a 3090 and 1080p is silly

    7680 x 1440 Ultra Preset following procedure in initial post:
    i9 9900k, 32gb ram, 3090 FE. Everything stock.

    It's really not that great, but much better than I got with my 2080ti. I still have to adjust things, but get 80-120 with my regular settings.

    Edit-- My custom graphics settings, with only a few things lowered (effects, post processing and foilage on medium) others on ultra, currently get me:
