1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Welcome to the Weekly Hotlap Challenge Round 1. The Devil Wears Praga.

    The Challenge..

    Perform your fastest lap of Mugello using the Praga R1.

    The Rules..

    Car: Praga R1
    Track: Mugello
    Time of day: 13:00
    Ambient Temp: 25 Degrees.
    Setup: Free
    Controller: Free
    Assists: Factory

    How to take part..

    To enter simply head into the game select Drive > Hotlap choose the Praga R1 and head Mugello, choose the session settings as stipulated above.

    Hit the track. (take as many laps as you want, practice as much as possible)

    To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post to forums.

    (Multiple time submissions are accepted, your fastest lap on Sunday 8th October will be used in the results)

    Results will be announced on Monday 9th October, next challenge will be chosen.

    Good to see someone starting this. Hope to see this continue as I'm away from Xbox working until end of October and would love to get into this and see what hot lap challenge is on offer then. Keep up the good work John.

    Arghh 1:51.2 is damn fast! Spent all evening and I'm within 2 seconds with a low 1:53 but for the life of me I cannot see where those 2 seconds are gonna come from! @Graveltrap, the speed you're carrying through those first few corners after the big stopper is insane! Great job

    And, op, best thread title ever :)

    I spent a bit of time on this track with the F40 S3 pre patch so have an idea of where the corners are ;)

    I think there is a 1:50.xxx in it for me, I drop a fair bit of time in the last sector if the delta is to be believed :( I'd suspect that the proper fast guys would be in the 1:49's...It's going to be fun finding out anyway :)

    It's that final corner I can't get right, I try and drive it like spoon at Suzuka sweeping out wide to square it off and give me maximum attack down the final straight. That always seems like the fastest route through it when driving but I think holding the tight line may be better. Dunno

    Last corner is probably the most important on the track as it leads to the longest straight, it is also the only corner you need to get right twice ;)

    My line in the clip isn't so good through it, I do think a late apex is the way to go, definitely something to experiment with anyway.

    My track temp remains at 25c with the ambient of 25c as set in the race setup screen, that is with the weather set to clear and starting at 13:00. Not investigated other conditions TBH...Time does change whilst running laps, I've not done more than an hour session though!

    Now in the 1:50.9xx range just need to clip it up if I don't go faster still ;)
