1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Well my tip was that you have to slide it a little bit (no full dorifto mode), in the video I posted I'm using 6C version and I'm far too much sideways in some turns (T3 for example). Just steering the wheel and waiting for the front bicycle wheels to grip with a huge engine hanging somewhere above them will take a while, so you have to point it with the wheel and help it turn with the throttle.
After driving the 12C tonight I think it's harder to slide it than the 6C version. I remember I was thinking that the 12C was easier to drive a few months ago when they were released, now it looks like the opposite for me.

I took the 6 cylinder on the nords - check the vid.

    Here's a race @mugello that was a great day of racing. -

I wish more servers would run this car. I love this car - hero to zero to hero in 1 lap!

Well, this is fun, seems like I am in Dirt Rally lol, it gets so sideways all over the place even in a straight line. [IMG]

All I can say is, despite my excitement toward sliding this car around I'm going to have a pretty miserable week finding seconds around this track. Lotus 98T sequel right here, genres remaining action and horror. Three to four completed laps, but probably 30-40 restarts already. Ratio is going to be atrocious once this is all said and done, but hopefully it all ends on a good note!

So happy as many people enjoy this ridiculous car as I do. Thanks for listening to the suggestion Graveltrap (and thanks for ignoring- and improving upon - my track proposal!)

I'll admit that I cheated on this lap, having skidded over the finish line and right into the divider between the straight and pit area. Felt like I needed 50 restarts too between this lap and the prior 1:53.987 I recorded seemingly years ago. Can't quite figure out how to settle the car down under braking and glide confidently and consistently through corners. Anyway, I'm beginning to really understand how masochists fuel their fire. My tolerance for this car's volatile nature is fading fast, so hopefully I can whip up a 1:50 or better before my sanity disintegrates altogether...

Again apologies for missing day 1! 17 drivers survive the Maser and manage to set a lap time, the Kid sets the pace with a low 44...
