1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Tried man handling it a little and found 5 seconds. I was being too cautious before and was barely turning the wheel, trying to use the throttle to rotate the car. This resulted in many spins and blown corners.

    Tuned as much of the wacky positive camber and mega toe back to normal as I could, thing still doesn't want to go straight under acceleration. Any tuning tips for this bathtub? [​IMG]

    Though I've found out that this car is all about the throttle pedal..corner entry,mid corner and exit are all controlled by it!

    Id love to offer more meaningful advice,but im just winging a lap out of this beast myself!

    Another hour-plus put in with nothing to show for. Maybe one or two more completed, but slower laps. Lost count long ago over restarts and swear words. Just infuriating to say the least! Can't figure out why the car just whips around at times, despite looking so deceivingly settled entering and through the apex of the more gradual turns. And I believe I botched what would've been a faster lap (by 0.5-1 sec) on the final right too. Going to chalk this one up for the night and hopefully try again tomorrow!

    as someone already stated, yes, is pretty rally style, a matter of combining the right gear vs turn, throttle and the turning itself in a kind of gentle drift to get the car where it should go (all with much longer trajectories)... another racing discipline quite similar to this behaviour to me is "speedway bike dirt", I don't know how it's called exactly, this image explains better :D

    Again, can't stay away from the center divider after crossing the finish line. Much mahalo (thanks) to @uelas_77 for the inspiring Fangio videos. Looked up a few other clips like the Nurburgring one where he ate up a 45 sec or so deficit (following a pit stop midway) to take the checkered flag. Ratio of completed laps to restarts is improving. 1:50 (or better in the bag)!

    And no, @Graveltrap... Not suggesting you make us hotlap this car at the Nordschleife Cup/Endurance layout. At least not yet! haha

    Absolutely love this car, so satisfying and fun to drive. Also that last corner is ridiculous, 3rd gear and fully sideways! I was having trouble slowing it down but I realised that engine braking is what really wipes the speed off. Shifting down quickly to 2nd for most of the corners helped me to keep it on the racing line.

    I might be able to improve but for the time being this is the best I can do, I think it’s pretty good considering i’m using the regular PS4 controller.

    EDIT: For whatever reason the PS4 screenshot I uploaded was kind of blurry, so i’ve zoomed it in a bit to make the lap time actually visible.
