1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Welcome to the thread for Weekly Hotlap #49 - Three Point Oh!

    The Challenge.
    Car: Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 (DLC)
    Track: Silverstone 1967

    A classic combination, the rather wonderful 3.0 RSR at the historic version of Silverstone. The car is simply epic, raw sound from the flat six combined with great FFB from that somewhat wayward chassis! The track very fast and flowing, lots of fun :)

    Apologies, no images this week, I had uploaded the images to Flickr, but it really doesn't like me on this device!

    The Rules.
    Mode: Hotlap
    Time of day: Free
    Ambient Temp: 26 Degrees
    Setup: Free
    Controller: Free
    Assists: Factory
    Stability: Free

    If it isn't mentioned here then assume the setting is free.

    Please make sure you have the ambient temperature set correctly, and that you are in hotlap mode, I really don't like disallowing times!

    The Deadline.
    Sunday October 1st - 22:00 BST (GMT+1)

    How to take part!
    To enter simply head into the game select Drive > Hotlap and choose the Porsche 911 Carerra RSR 3.0 and head to Silverstone 1967. Make sure you setup the session using the settings detailed in this thread and hit the track!

    You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, its simple :) All Platforms are welcome, it is all about having fun and enjoying Assetto Corsa.

    To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature, mode heading and of course the car being used!

    Feel free to post video clips and share information in here as well, but without the session screen your time will not be included (placing the session screen in a video clip is acceptable).

    You also need to state the time and your platform in the body of your post, this should be the first thing you do, the image should then be placed below the text. It would also be helpful to mark updated times with Improvement. This makes collating the results much easier.

    A leader board will be collated on a daily basis to keep everyone up to date on where they currently stand...Unfortunately editing of posts gets locked on this forum so this post will not be updated.

    Feel free to use the unofficial leader board but remember you still need to include the session screen in this thread to be included in the results.

    Going to start off with this relatively "garbage" time, but I wanted to get a post in about some other fun stuff. Anyway, this is quite the straightforward combo, which should translate to fewer restarts and more completed laps than previous challenges. Or so I hope!

    Anyway, I've been having a few of my friends over often lately to attempt the WH and other personal challenges for fun. Think I sparked a new rivalry and passion between two of my good friends with a Corvette C7.R at Vallelunga (full course) combination. That aside, my one friend's six-year-old step son actually attempted and put in a valid lap for THIS challenge. Only assist used was automatic transmission. No physical help from any of us bystanders. 2:35.777 with my Ricmotech load cell AND 90% FFB setting in-game. Kid is a beast with a strong left leg! I think he consistently applied 70-80% braking force on every turn...

    T300rs , t3pa with Bodin load cell brake conversion, t8ha, pc, htc vive, gt omega rig, etc.

    ^ My favourite Silv layout in AC. The modern national layout is fun and inter' is ok as well. Im not a fan of the modern GP layout though.
