1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Really bummed over this because based off the previous 1:39.1 lap I had a 6-7 tenth advantage going into Club. Knowing me though, I found a way to choke with a poor entry and exit, losing 4-5 tenths off the delta exiting Club and another tenth between Abbey and Woodcote. For the remainder of the session, I could never get ahead of my ghost coming onto the Hangar Straight. This course really highlights my glaring weakness with sweepers that lead into long straights. And it doesn't help any bit having a car that, in stock setup trim, can't recover to save it's life once the back end kicks out. Well, at least on entry...

    That's not even the punchline though. What made things even more stupid was checking on @Laughing Gravy 's recent post more closely and seeing the sad news. Went from a projected 1:38.5 to this ridiculous nonsense! Safe to say, I took a nice, long shower after my session and reflected a bit on life afterward. Man, now I really want that 1:38! Forget those 1:35s and 1:36s because you guys up there are just too good... haha

    Do you have the diff coast on 40? 60 will help keep the back from stepping out on entry and then you just need to focus on braking early enough that you can make the apex and get on throttle as early as possible for max drive down the straights. I used 58% front brake and 60 coast.

    @andy-riches
    I'll try that out next time around, so thanks for the tip! This is one of those challenges that reminds me I need to actually start learning how to set up a car. Should I be messing with tire pressures and other stuff too?

    Yeah getting the tyre pressure and gearing about right is always worthwhile. Im not great with setup but I have a play with everything else. It is worth messing around with camber also I guess.

    The tyre information I have for this car, not sure how accurate it is after the latest round of updates (sorry it's an attachment so quality won't be great).

    I wish I could give credit to whomever made the document...
