1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Correct, that is the one I used. My screen size is 50 inches (using the main family TV) and around 50 inches away gave me that low value! Can just about see the top of the steering wheel. Must practice with it like Hugo said and not in a challenge.

    @Laughing Gravy
    Nice lap! I just attempted a go for the first time since whenever I last posted and clocked a 9:05.29 off the bat with no restarts. I can make stupid excuses in getting rejected on Valentine's Day, being joyous over the Bonus Pack (33 Stradale being involving and Huayra BC frightening), and trying to race more online (and still losing races within the first lap if not the first turn), but just know it's still on between us! I'll post a proper screenshot when I'm done knocking (or trying to knock) off a few more seconds.

    On a more serious note, I sense a little more of the fear now that comes with driving this car. But I must say it's intoxicating!

    About time. Lost count of how many failed attempts between earlier and this post. Get back in your seat @Laughing Gravy !!! haha

    For real, though. Can't wait to watch a lap from an alien here (after this challenge expires) and be amazed at how late you guys can brake. This car's pretty scary coming down from high speeds!

    One more go in the evening here. No restarts once I made it to the Nordschleife section. Found myself being a little cautious and conservative throughout the second-half of the lap. Really wanted to nail a sub-9, but maybe another time.

    And is it just me or is the upload system here busted? Unable to upload directly from the thread page and I can't see the last few images from either my previous post or the one after by @Laughing Gravy . Funny to learn this forum is just as bugged as the game itself! haha

    I had one valid laptime on the Nord (9:02.431) out of the 1000 attempts I have tried so.....a gave up:confused:
    All my respect for those who have driven that combo ...madness I would say and think .

    I’ve been exactly the same. Done More restarts than laps. Stressed me out
    Every time I tried to push it that little bit more I mess up so I’ve not attempted it for a few days. Maybe try again before Sunday.

    Smooth is fast but unfortunately slow is just slow. I wouldn't normally post this but it's my last time so here it is.

    I’ve played a bit of GT Sport, but it hasn’t delivered the online experience I am craving... I have actually spent more time creating liveries than driving cars!

    I haven’t played much AC at all, the 911R gets a run out every now and again, to check I can still heel and toe ;)

    After a couple of retries (I think about 50....) finally a lap below 9 minutes. And then half way comes the stress. No panic.... and thus too cautious and a bit slow in the corners. Caroussel with this car and a motion platform feels like a Thai massage woman walking on your back (with high heels) :p and she is cheaper ;)
