1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Interesting track, took me about 40 laps to get familiar with it, and probably another 200 to master it:eek:, so far was able to finish only within 2min, this reminds me of black cat on lotus challenge, lots of slipping and sliding. Hoping to shave another 2-3 secs by the end of week, we'll see.

Had a quick go and got a low 1:59, so, not great.

Deffo need more practise but also the default setup feels nervous and bouncy (to me anyway).

Anyone got any set up tips?

Thanks for the instructional vid Andy, seems like a totally different car to the one I've got!
2cm of snow is causing "travel chaos" in London, so I've got a day to practise!

I'm totally of pace! Missing apexs and not knowing the track is the most critical point. Still some time for improvement left! [IMG]

First time I have ever driven this car, I like that the whc uses all the available cars and tracks in ac, otherwise I would have no incentive to drive many of these combos.

I used Labbe’s tune for the nords from the setup market and adjusted fuel and tire pressures to suit the track.

Thanks to Andy's clip, now using a different line through turns 6 and 8 and I'm suddenly a whopping 1.5 secs quicker.
To Brainsbush: Did you mean "slicks" when referring to the tyre pressures in your earlier post? I've only got "street" or "semislicks" as tyre options...

  19. Andy-R

    Andy-R Alien

This is the setup I was using. The tyre pressures will be fine but the suspension and camber settings I just clicked stuff and then set the lap. I lowered the rebound all around to 48 because someone once suggested something similar for one of the Exige's online o_O. I didn't try any other settings so no idea if I made it worse or better. If you are on console take the tyre pressure settings if you don't know what to set it as. Also after 2 hot laps your tyres will be starting to degrade (on semi-slicks of course.)

Yes I meant semislicks, grtz Brian. Later I will use Andy's setup. Hope to find that 0,5 seconds to beat Sven :p
