1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Will have to do it again. I went off track one lap missed my braking marker for t1, killed my time. I'm not getting good sector 1 times. T1 and t2 are killing me. Still fun though! Happy that I'm .384 off from i think, PretendRacer(heyzeusss666)? 44.704 is my fastest lap thus far with a ****ty sector 1 of 26.349.

    I had another quick go in the 98T yesterday but there was no way I was going to find 15s without starting again with the setup, but really need to (re)learn Suzuka today for league on Tuesday so may not end up improving on that one.

    I do have a potential to improve in the Datsun though so we will see what else today brings, it has certainly started well enough so I am positive ;)


    I think you are right on the pace there DriverMod, reduce the mistakes and you should be in contention - I don’t think I did any faster than high 44s either.

    Finally due to the fact that the laws of physics are constant across time and space, I won’t be trying Platinum again

    Absolutely silly time. I still can't stop laughing! My first issue is trying to handle this McLaren beast. Then you have those pesky Abarth's. I'm amazed at how the low profile carbon fibre front end of the McLaren will shovel those little buggers up and over! Not the goal I know but this event has brought me back to a misspent youth at arcades playing Atari Frogger, Centipede and other such games.

    If I could stop giggling whilst playing, I may be able to be more competitive. That's not a bad thing. I'm here to have fun, this event is all that. Quite imaginative. Well done!

    Nearly got it yesterday, but gave up after losing it on the final corner. Few laps more today and, BOOM! I feel like a Welsh rugby player:D

    Finally put a somewhat decent race together..skipped out of qualifying with a 44.something and it gridded me in 4th or 5th, so the start was a mad dash swerving lol. @LeiF soft tires for the win btw. I also improved my fastest lap down to 44.279. Still not good in S1 - 26.100 , S2 - 18.179

    Yeah I just had a quick go on soft, some improvement but clearly not enough :)
    Also did exactly the same; set a time in quali then skipped, thinking it would retain the results but it put me in the pack lol
    Traffic wasn't as kind as previous attempt either! Cheeky little sods aren't they.

    learned a lot bout pig riding and thought:
    use the learned and try the special event - Unexpected Truths (Panamera Nords).

    Fun race! Great idea. I modified 7765646576(?) tune and after a bunch of practice laps in hotlap mode I fine tuned the car and was ready for the race. This was one of the first races I completed so its a little sloppy. Unfortunately, those little alfas kept turning into me lol. It wasn't 100% clean as I traded paint with a couple of them, but "Jackkiiiieeeee" (in a Nicki Thiim voice) didn't call a penalty so I kept going.

    I could improve the start by qualifing in first of course, but thats not really necessary. Might save you a tenth or two. Anyways, if you start from the back, make sure to go to the left of the one in first place instead of passing him on the right like I did. Might save a tenth or two. Try not to hit the inside of the curbs because it can upset the car quite a bit and you loose a lot of time correcting the car, I probably hit at least 4 curbs badly.

    I had a race where I was a little bit quicker each lap but I kept catching the alfas in bad spots and either I would punt them or get punted. Frustratingly fun.

    Decided to switch it up and go off the beaten Ferrari path. No real tune, just gripping and ripping having fun! Good for a top 20 on RSR as well..actually 10th for now.
