1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

It's really nice to see how different tastes can be and it shows that Kunos does a very good job giving these cars their personalities. For me the Bentley i like the least of all cars.
For now the ranks would be: Ferrari, BMW, Lambo, Bentley
I can see the Porsche, Audi or AMG taking up 1st or 2nd spot when i will try them, if they handle how i imagine they will handle.

I totally agree with the bold part. It's what I expected/hoped for and Kunos is doing a fantastic job. I'm sure that with ACC we have the best simulator available to the general public because the cars match their RL counterparts so well. Aris' blogs on the cars show how much confidence he has in the simulation. He pretty much just describes what the RL car is like and we can all check if we find that ACC matches this character or not.

BTW, my ranking would be: Bentley, Ferrari, Lambo, BMW. I just love how with TC = 4 the Bentley goes into an adjustable powerslide out of the turns and how "nicely unstable" it becomes under braking so that you can perfectly rotate it for the turn. The speed isn't bad, either. I can imagine that the Jag will be somehow similar because the road going Jags usually have very loose rear ends.

@LeDude83 What i find fascinating is that the Bentley and the BMW are very similar when looking from the outside, they basically are both 'boats'. Long and heavy front engine cars. But for some reason they feel quite different, to me the BMW is way more twitchy and feels somewhat lighter, which i love. How would you explain the difference?

I think I can't give you an educated answer to this because I actually haven't spent a lot of time with the BMW other than the hotlap event at PR. The setup I used had a very planted rear that felt kind of snappy to me on the limit. Through the tight bends it was unwilling to turn in the way I wanted it to.

So maybe if I gave it more time I'd start to like the BMW more.

But the Bentley doesn't seem heavy to me. It's surprisingly nimble for its size, as Aris also describes in his blog.

for me BMW causes the less frustration when driving on limit, the Ferrari the most. but i couldn't set a clear order amongst the cars... and that's great.
the Bentley also feels good but it's down a bit on pace. the Lambo is also very quick but easy to spin, but on some track it's great, on PR it gives me more frustration for example :)
overall the BMW and Lambo looks fastest, Ferrari not so much but i might have not the ideal setup for it... Bentley feels just slow. so my order would be maybe this for the moment.

the shorter front-engined cars are suited the most to my style, (like the AMG, old BMW Z4) and hopefully the Jag would be good (and i'm waiting to try the Aston aswell)
