Damn i was torn by new track poll

I'm not even sure why I love it, it's spiritual for all I know! That said, I'd pay full retail for just a proper
Nordschleife - it's just such a unicorn track in terms of accuracy and immersion.

 

With Nordschleife you've got all tracks of the world in one. I totally agree with Kunos in making the customers decide for the content to produce.

 

Went for Barcelona, Donnington, and Nordschleife. But could easily have picked some others instead, hard to choose.

Good move by Kunos with all these polls.

Nord and La Sarthe was obvious choice for me. As the third choice I've picked Paul Richard over Bathurst (knowing Paul Richard is not that popular and it stands no chance - still I love the circuit).

Well, for me the most fun in driving a car is going round a corner. And Nordschleife has lots of them. That's pretty much it.

 

Nordschleife demands more of a driver that any other track I know off.

 

nord, le mans, donington... but I would mostly want Road America which is my all time favorite track!

 

Why all the LeMans. You probably did not even vote for the R-18 and now everybody wants LeMans?

 

Unless I'm mistaken, the GP 'ring is already planned, it's the "Germany circuit" 5.15km long, listed on the laser-scanned-tracks page. Picture looks like it and 5.15km matches the modern length.

Almost all of my buddies called for the Nurb-Lemans-Bathurst combo

 

I voted for nords of course because an actual laser scanned version has never been done in a sim before... right? But was sad to see after voting that mostly people wanted the same old tracks we have all played to hell... Bathurst, Laguna Seca... and so on. I would love to have nords but the rest should be great tracks that aren't known so much. Just my two cents.

Nordschleife is getting enough votes anyway.

 

Voted for the 'mighty ring' No other track in the list even compares. The 'rush' it can make when attacking it with some seriously powerful car (60'-70' CanAm) + bias ply tyres, going uphill full throttle at 'Kesselchen' or taking that blind downhill corner 'Antonius Buche - Tiergarten' @ 300km/h+

Correct, for me Nordschleife is the ultimate hot-lap/time-trial location. Rubbish for racing, most people can't make it around the first lap of a regular circuit racing online, let alone a few laps of a long track like that. Also you have to spend ages on it to be able to blitz it like AI on 100%. It's like a nice long time trial circuit that has the beauty of connecting up to the start again. If Kunos did it I'd enjoy it for sure especially if they used Steam to do lists of the best times and give out prizes for best time competitions. However I'd still be pining for the other three of four true racing circuits they could have made instead in the same time. Might be better done by modders, but then I think why not Kudos, if that many people really like it that much, then maybe it deserves the full Kunos treatment, not sure. I don't think I'd even play a 2nd rate modded Nords TBH.

 

Ring ring ring

 

I race 24h on Nord (rF) almost every year with the grid of about 40 cars So yeah, it's possible to race there. Can't wait till March, there's next 24h on the Ring.

 

At one point I'd like to see Montjuic.
