@f.e.negroni - problem is between wheel and chair. Always the same people complaining and looking for strange solutions. Had a lot of races vs AI last months, i am only alien here in the forum, writing nonsense, on track 2-5s off the pace depending on track.
To go back to 1.1 or so is just.... emm.....meh!

 

Seeing 1.4 mentioned, what are we expecting in this update? Is there a link to an article describing what we can expect from 1.4? Would like to know.

It clearly states that 1.3.10 prepares the game for the 1.4 version coming later this month. Meaning April.

How did you manage the revert ? You had a previous backup of the whole game folder ?

 

Yeah, but clearly something happened (the SRO eSports race), and with it tons of drivers asking Kunos for advice, new liveries and much many things that need to be fixed since 1.3.12. I know 1.4. was supposed to be released later this month, but, let´s not be anxious and wait for Kunos or whoever to give a new date, or just for them to release it whenever it´s ready.

It´s quite weary seeing all this comments asking about 1.4. instead of looking for info in the official webpages, or even into the "2020 Discussion Thread".

 

don't think people are anxious, they just don't know. And seeing as a post from Kunos themselves said that it'll come out this month is confusing.

 

Please Kunos, don't make the same communication mistakes as Studio397 .
Personally I'm looking forward to see the customization of the skins, this simulation is great, I haven't seen anything as good since gtr2! A little message for the extra delay before the 1.4 release would be so nice for us ;-)

 

The communication has already been done, as the roadmap has been updated.

As someone who works in the creative field, I can tell you its impossible to provide an exact date when things will be completed. I always give an estimate, and that estimate gets revised all the time. Yes, I do let people know what that estimate is, but I do it once. Answering multiple emails about it (which I do unfortunately get) only slows me down, and so if I'm in the middle of complex engineering I just plain ignore them.

I expect that Kunos is working hard at it, so I don't feel that pestering them is useful.

 

Have a look at the YT-Channel of Aris - when he anounced a 1.4-explain-video the release of it will be very soon

 

Most of the planned updates were already released in 1.3.10,11,12. Probably only MP features remaining for the 1.4 release. The MP seems to always be the part lagging behind the rest of the game, and indeed the only part that still feels unfinished. Given MP has many really poor design choices they refuse to change, I'm not expecting much from this final part of the 1.4 patch.
