I`m also in, but first I have to finish my Lotus E22 skin.

 

weird combo, this. I've mostly run this track with GT cars, and turn 1 (for me) suddenly means shifting down, or I sail straight off the track. So, braking to much lower speed than usual seems necessary, or you understeer like crazy. I actually went back to the pits to check whether I didn't have semi-slicks on or something, because I was nowhere near the grip I remembered from the GT cars.

Then, after my session I check the time (2:03:8), and I am 3-4(!) seconds faster than in the BMW GT2, the Z4 GT3 or the McLaren GT3... What?!

So, it seems its acceleration must be enormous, compared to the GT cars, considering I can carry substantially less speed through a corner. Is that wing mostly for show?

There is probably still a second or two in this for me, but I don't see myself breaking through that 2:00 barrier.

 

I just did a good hour in this car. It is very fast in a straight line, something like 800bhp, but it does underteer a lot. I've tried everything, softening front anti roll bar, tire pressures, full negative camber, nothing seems to really sort out the understeer, I got a 2:03 as well, and think I might get another 1-2 seconds off, but can't see how I could break below the 2:00 barrier either...

 

Nope, it just works at full potential only when braking. You can see it move in the replay

A general advice: give some braking force to rear wheels or you will go straight at every corner

 

Got a 2:02:809 so far. I'm sure I can get under 2min

Got a 1:59.342 with default setup and I think it is possible to push in the 1:58. But how somebody can do a 1:55.2 is beyond me...

 

I'm in as well! Just added Paul as a friend on Steam.
Earlier today I got a 2:00.582, but I hope to improve it in the next few days. I think it should be possible for me to do a 1:59, but I'm not yet very consistent yet with this car/track combo.

Well, I did about 3 laps there, and got a 2:05. So if I had some time getting a few seconds faster than that is possible. But as I am going away for a few days, I may not get the time :S

Nice Combo! Really enjoying the Ferrari after a couple of laps to get used to it, can fling it into the corners. Bonus been on my local track! (not that I've ever driven it) Managed to get a 2:01.3. Reckon I can get it in the low 2:00-1:59s by the end of the week.

I`m two places below you on RSR now, after i managed a 1.57:643 with your setup (which i slightly altered).

I'm saying my improvements are setup related, it may just be me getting used to the track. I`ve never driven this layout before. I only realised yesterday that the track doesn`t even use the original star grid (although it is similar).

I see Greger Huttu's been on this car/track combo too. 1.55:320, pfft. He's cheating lol
