1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Every time I step on the breake car goes sideways (?!?!?) why?

    I think über have that steering rotation problem. With small turn I can pass easy every turn

    It's there any solution how to get normal rotation back?

    Some say the 911 has the engine in the wrong place ... the rear. I don't agree with that, i like those cars the way they are. Try to be a bit more gentle on the brake, it can help you to turn in better. The 911 is a great car, but it behaves a bit different from front- and midengine cars.

    I'm not stepping full break though of course I'm gently but I think I've the rotation bug now. Small turn gives me big turn angle

    Are you using ABS? If not: Maybe your rear tyres lock? The rear of the car is heavy so it wants to overtake you when decelerating. Using ABS is allowed in this challenge (in factory mode), so i wouldn't hesitate to use it.

    Driving miss Daisy to a 9.14 to get a clean lap but overstepped the last bend to the finish straight , so I threw my toys out of the pram until later. Hope to get more patience from the big guy in red next week. Good luck peeps and merry Christmas.

    "Handle with care" so should be this topic named though! I can say if you're really
    Gentle with the releasing the breake you can achieve good times with this car. Overall I can improve myself by few secs, middle section was slow for me and the last one I've had a unnecessary drift but overall few tries and 7:56.175 came out.

    It´s never wrong to really know the Nordschleife. :D

    Will have a go later when I get home. Only ran the tourist layout so far with the road car 911, so I don´t know where I´ll end up. Won´t be the top, though.

    Micheals time wasn´t bad, but there was a bitt of potential in that lap with some huge tailslides etc., I guess that´s what he was talking about. Not promising to be faster myself, just pointing it out.

    Auto Motor Sport lapped the real car @ 7:34 + a few seconds for that short stretch they don´t count (Like 200m between start / finish at T13). Looking forward to what the aliens will deliver.

    Yeah, it's why I think the fast guys will post 7:40 +/- seconds. On the pad I guess I can manage a 7:55 maybe...we'll see. Will be interesting to go back to the wheel and compare my times.

    Actually, this is the track I've rounded the most in this game, and probably any other.. for me, I feel like it's just lack of control, I'm watching you guys get sideways in a few of the turns on these videos.. I don't have that kind of control, especially with the gamepad.. if my car gets sideway, that usually means it's over. And that goes doubly for this Porsche! (looking forward to getting my t300rs on saturday, yes I've talked the wife into allowing us to open it on Christmas eve, lol)

    Seeing as we've got quite a bit of time on this one, I'd love to another write up like the one @andy-riches did on the last WHC, with an excellent course map, braking points, the works... That was really helpful to us lowly peasants lol
