Improved by halve a second but this is pure setup (thnx havanabob) need to work on my driving now.

 

Got once 37.6 but didt make photo but nevertheless forget the breaking I'm taking about the car handing mate. So don't upset yourself to much though.

Car as a car goes well on a straight line, braking is solid as well but the turning, understeer and acceleration is horrible. Worst car so far. As I say I'd like to see 1M here, which is an amazing peace of engineering but it's only my opinion. Don't upset y'all

1M is bugged, until it is fixed it won't be used!

 

Well, I got sub 1:40....

There is a very particular way to drive this car, brake, chuck it at the apex, and let it roll round the corner, wait, wait, wait, POWER!!!.

If you're even the slightest bit early on the power, then welcome to understeer city.

I reckon a 1:37 is doable, but I need to rest my weary fingers....

Another busy day at Brands Hatch brings the numbers up to 43, plenty of improvements posted as well, HavanaBOB is the first console user to break into the 1:36's

Spent waaaay too long chasing 35's tonight. Didn't quite get there but I will before Sunday!

 

Nobody is upset, and maybe it's just a language thing, but it just sounds like you're slamming @Graveltrap for "wasting" this track on this car.

I don't have time to go back through your posts in the other WHCs, but I'd be willing to bet your "worst car so far" statement here could be challenged by multiple other posts of yours, lol. Almost every one of your posts are complaints usually.. always the car.

Anyway, no worries, I'm not upset about you hating the car, it's more the fact that @Graveltrap is putting in work here.. maybe a little respect?

First real try at this week's challenge. I feel like I've got a :38 in me, just don't know if I'm going to have much time to go for it this week.

1.39.536 using HavanaBOB's settings. But I still think the car slides too much and seems to lag coming out of corners. But dropping down another gear to get more revs just makes it slower.

The sliding and lagging go hand in hand, if there is one thing you don't want to do in this car, it's slide, it just kills the momentum, and the (350bhp?!) isn't enough to haul it back up to speed.

When / where are you experience sliding?, corner entry?, are you trail braking?, there isn't much you can change, but I wouldn't mind betting the setup you mention has low(er) rear toe levels, as that is one of the only ways to get this car to stop understeering!

 

I skip my turn, can't work on it this week. i'm sad.

 

Managed to shave a little time, not as much I would like...
