1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I absolutely hate understeer and this has plenty of that. If I could lessen that somewhat, I could go a fair bit quicker.

    if you go negative toe front and rear i think it will oversteer quite a bit. i tried a tiny bit of positive rear and negative front and it oversteered quite a bit IIRC. also if you play around with the camber you can change the way it oversteers and understeers. this car seems to change a lot when you modify the setup. i ended up with a bit of positive toe and lots of neg camber both ends

    no problem, i was using a setup with a bit less rear negative camber at first, it seemed to oversteer more in slow corners and didnt understeer quite so much on power. im using almost max now IIRC and it does understeer a tiny bit more but also seems to have WAY better traction out of the slow corners.

    Default setup, semi slicks, suffering form a lot of oversteer in the Orange car when I switched to Yellow less so, wrestling the wheel and catching big slides (occasionally) does not make for a fast lap. No real way to investigate, on console though :(

    I do seem to get the best out of the tyres on lap one, I've not managed to beat a good lap one time on lap two yet, if that makes sense! :eek:

    I did a little hunting around, and came up with 34F and 35R ideal pressures, the info did seem to be from an older version of the game...

    FTFY ;)

    My old Rover BRM was racing green :) It also had red leather seats and a stupid orange grill...I do miss the old beast for some reason...

    unless someone beats me to it ill check the ideal pressure after work tomorrow.

    id recommend 2 laps max before a change of tyres.

    I think Clarkson once said a Lotus under steered, the response from Lotus, you are driving it wrong...I will try and track down the clip before the end of the challenge (I hope).

    Super busy day, took me a while to catch up on what was going on! Lots of action means we have 35 players on the board, and it's only Tuesday! Console battle is shaping up nicely :)

    I need to try the one hot lap theory, as I think I did my best on lap 9 in practice mode. As for your Rover, I remember them well, I liked the look.
