1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I know, Graveltrap. Electronic Differential Lock (EDL), applies active brake force to a slipping tyre to automatically transfer power via the differential to the loaded tyre with more grip. Of course it´s a feature :D
    My point is, it does not kick in until a certain amount of slip occurs on one tyre, then indicated by the letters EDL flashing in the right bottom corner. Imagine two scenarios, in both you take the corner with ideal tempo, get a perfect apex. Now, in the first scenario you apply throttle carefully, very little wheelspin, no EDL, normal acceleration. In the second scenario you slam the gas pedal to break traction of the inner, unloaded wheel, thus kicking in EDL, which not only transfers more power to the outer wheel, but also helps the car turn in by applying just one brake. If that makes any kind of sense...?
    I gotta test this out somehow.

    YES!!!!! Very close GT. That last 0,08 sec is for you because of your support.
    Changed also the color of the Alfa from red to blue. That paint is less heavy according to Dupont specs :eek::confused:

    I have to admit. Yesterday I was kind of "complaining/confused" about that very fast times of other pro sim racers. I almost blamed the console vs PC discussion. No it was/is the driver....patience, learn the track, easy. I said very easy, go with the flow and learn to use your right foot gently.

    I was looking for a GT but couldn't find a good one in my price range. Ended up getting a Giulietta not the QV but the 170ps Veloce. I know it's just a Fiat Bravo in a short skirt and makeup but really like it, especially in dynamic mode it's pretty pokey.... never really gets out of dynamic mode :)
    I will give this one a go, it looks like my kind of thing!

    I don't know if my thumbs can handle a lot of running in this one. A lot of over cranking required for this one. At least the amount of spinouts is greatly reduced from last week. I didn't say they were eliminated, just reduced. I'm going to fiddle with the FFB to see if I can get rid of some of the slop.
