1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Blimey,already some good laps.I had a quick go yesterday but not much to report apart from i'm trying to get used to the TH8 shifter again.As the Alfa is a lefthand drive I have to do things as real as possible,that maybe my downfall we shall see,:eek::confused:

    I love that track, the car is not my favorite, but it's okay. But i think this track is too large and too wide for a car of this type. A smaller track like Vallelunga Classic/Club or Magione would have been a better choice. Anyway: Here is my first try.

    42 is optimal pressure for V10 tyres that we got in the latest update (for all cars except those few that were on V10s already). Since consoles are a bit behind the schedule I guess the car is still on V7 for consoles. If I'm right and optimal pressure from ks dev folder is correct then it should be 40 all around on consoles.

    Slidy, slidy to get to my slow time so far, cutting every curb as hard as I can. Need to find a smoother method I think. This car needs a third and a half gear around here!

    Flat shifting is an exploit rather than a technique :D I meant im not lifting off the throttle on up shifts. I wish it damaged the gearbox or was slower somehow but its faster in a lot of cars. In certain cars where it sounds or feels horrible I dont do it (a lot of the classic cars for example.)

    You should definitely heel and toe though, it feels awkward for a little while but you soon get used to it. I double clutch in the 250F as well, thats worth trying in SP, sounds way cool and even though drivetrain simulation is basic in AC the car seems to like it :p it adds to the experience anyway.

    PS4, T500, TH8a, no beer or sandwich this time. IMG_0481.JPG still using the shifter, I will try paddles at some point. Shaved off 1.5 seconds tonight, think I can find a little more. I'm loosing a lot of time in turns 2&3.
    Will try again tomorrow.

    Stick with it, I've learned a lot about the track tonight, I was doing the last corner all wrong, apexing way to early and compromising my exit speed. I kind of got this kind of "I haven't seen the track from this angle before" feeling and my lap was faster.
