1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Holy smokes I have my work cut out for me! Will be back on track tomorrow or so...

    EDIT: So much for tomorrow... 6:51.003 tonight within a few attempts! Still not good enough though (for a screenshot post). I can just about taste that sub 6:50! Maybe not taste the gravy yet though. Dang squeaky pedals and deck telling me I've got (too much) adrenaline flowing through my veins. Love it! haha

    straight up the hill to hohe acht - bout 1.5s! :D
    rest of the course - more time is possible. :)
    i played a lot with the setup until i felt comfortable. :cool:
    but i cant finish one clean lap. o_O
    so - dunno if i can improve. its still a lot of fun, but i struggle and struggle.....:confused:

    I'll have to get a move on again soon. Watched my friend play Assetto Corsa all day the other day. Played a little myself, but nothing involving the 312T. Out of the 3-4 hours he was in the seat, at least an hour went toward this challenge. Heck, for someone who only comes over once every week or two I was rather surprised he kept up with my ghost once up until Bergwerk where he cooked it good on the exit. Means that I need to take a few more turns with more speed and actually make better use of that 12 number on the RPM gauge!

    Anyway, I think he got a 7:06 and change on the one lap he did complete. Too bad we quit before getting the screenshot.

    Oh, and one day the challenge should be the C9 Mercedes-Benz here at Nordschleife with all assists off and 100% turbo setting! One of the most sinister combinations I've attempted to date.

    Wow!! A lot been going on here in my absence over the last 5 days :) Great job @Lewisxbone No way i'm getting near that with the limited laps I can get in (probably not even if I had all day to try it lol) but i'll try to get a few more laps in before it closes and hopefully find my way closer to the 7 minute mark.
