1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

State your opinion and let others state theirs. The more you get angry on others opinions, the more you showcase that opinion, thus giving it more importance while in reality you wanted the opposite. Let it be.

Vitor has over 700 posts and not one of them is constructive or helpful to the community or Kunos in any way; I wouldn't expect him to start now....

So you got mad at my post?? Ahahahahahah.

You completly missed the point of my post. Our friend Michael said on other thread that the way we have pits now is perfect. Because a good pit stop is decided on your skill with the mouse clicks. And it would be bad to "dumb down" the game removing that.

I was joking about that. You need to read better next time ;)
Or I need to put in a sarcasm tag ;)

You are sooooo the right person to say that ;)
And I'm honored you had the time to read all 700 of my posts so you can say that.

So we need to be skilled in the old art of point and clicking, and we should be rewarded for practicing it on our own server :rolleyes:o_O

  12. Interesting that you would interpret that post as me saying that it is perfect in every way, especially considering that I stated there needs to be a better way than having to use the mouse to choose your options.

Here is something funny, whenever you or any other member of the Kleenex brigade don't like something you guys always use the 'muh immersion' argument to justify it yet in the real world teams spend considerable time practicing pit stops yet you think that clicking a button on your wheel and leaving the rest up to a random time generator is the most realistic option.

You stated there needs to be a better way than having to use the mouse to choose your options, but then proceed to give an excuse as that is totally fine. The practice on your server excuse. I'm funny you say ;)

  14. Why do I force myself to read every post in these threads? :p

  15. I like having to practice pit stops in order to have an advantage just like practicing making laps will give you an advantage over somebody that doesn't. (theoretically)
I like not being able to choose what service I want done until I am stopped in my box.
I don't like having to reach over and use my mouse to make those choices.

    Still confused?

Since it's coming from you?? No.

But I would wonder if someone else should think that the skill needed to have a quicker pit stop is on the mouse handling, instead of for example having a completely manual pit, as in you have to break before entering (instead of going full speed into the pits), putting the limiter, driving to pit box.

The changes of this, if I understood it correctly, should get rid of the wheel going mental if you steered just a bit on high-speed and then let loose of the wheel. And Curb of Death should also be improved. Not too sure about it though.
