1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    "Live streaming ist wegen Rechtsproblemen in Deutschland leider nicht möglich", says a Youtube message. Live streaming in Germany no longer possible due to legal issues, that means. Until the last stream, it was.

    Us crazy Germans, the conflict between GEMA and Youtube is lasting since long and neither is Youtube all innocent, nor is GEMA the white knight in shining armour it claims to be, but a gangster itself, too. And now even live streaming is under dispute for us German audience?

    Times are not going to become better.

    Short summary of the highlight info, somebody...? Especially news on the AI andf race pitstops for SP would be welcomed.

    Can you Not use a mask IP address type program to get around that ? Ive successfully used Cyber Ghost a few times to access stuff that came up with regional issues.

    It's quite good to see that the AI is being improved. With regard to this, I've posted in the suggestions sub-forum a simple idea about how the AI could be improved, using a strategy quite similar to the already implemented DRS zones. I think it's worth checking imho. I really hope for a quite competitive racing AI in the future.

    I wait and see what happens when the stream goes live. Actually I did not realise immediately that it still was about to begin, but thought it was already a thing of the past.

    On the GEMA thing I got hot a bit because it is so damn paternalising, and lasts since so long already.

    On the plugin for Firefox, just be advised everybody that they all are understood to be illegal. If your system gets remote scanned, you HD confiscated or it gets logged in some server's data records that you accessed a file by using such a plugin, you are in legal trouble. Not to mention a certain lawyer mafia here in Germany that specialised in trying to milk people over even untrue, just claimed accusations of illegally streamed stuff, may it be movies, music, may it be porno, may it be games, even the status of stremaing itself is not 100% declared legal (as usually claimed) by higher courts, they evade final clearification of this issue since many years. The Germans in this forum probably have taken notice of the two huge scandals we have had in the past 18 months, both involving raising accusations over claims about illegal porno streaming. It is a huge, though mostly criminal business, and obviously fincially lucrative.

    There is nothing on my PC anymore and I would not write anything via email or smartphone that I would not mind to write on an uncovered tourist postcard as well. And even this way I am not safe completely, could fall victim to some fabricated claims and planted evidence caught up via drive-by downloadingm being blackmailed for money by said lawyer mafia.

    There will come a day when I ban all higher-developed electrical IT-devices in my household completely, I tell you. But I read one yera ago that the Israelis even could use ordinary toasters for accustic surveillance when they are switched on. o_O
