1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Saving with setup is the only way to go.

    I don't know exactly what is being proposed for the FFB, but I'd be very disappointed if the FFB gain wasn't saved in the car setup. The appropriate FFB gain varies with car and track, determined by the FFB clipping app, and then it's saved away for the combination.

    It would be good to be able to set FFB per car then have it load automatically. It doesn't really sit very well with car setup because well..it's not a setup function.

    I tend to load my own setup with each car so it's not too much of a problem for me, but I do find it a bit odd. We should really be able to set our own favorite to load instead of the default also.

    Exactly. Stefano said that he can't have both. FFB in setup is ESSENTIAL. You load your setup, FFB is inside also. Please @Lord Kunos keep it as it is. (if you also want shortcuts , you have to find a way to keep also FFB via setup) .

    Please FFB setting as it is, as said before the appropriate FFB gain varies with car and track, determined by the FFB clipping app.

    It's a good job that I don't consider FFB to be all that important. I just minimise it, and then forget about it. I don't have specific settings for different cars.

    The IER Oreca mod is the first car that I have had to even mess with the FFB slider in the setup tab. Being able to set it and forget it would be great IMO. I happen to think that you guys that are changing the FFB based on the track just might be overthinking things a bit, but maybe this is something the aliens do....

    I've only tweaked FFB on a couple mods where it wasn't working well for me (huge clipping vs. my standard setting where most Kunos cars almost never clip), for the most part I don't feel the need to optimize it. I prefer a less strong but more specific feeling per car though.

    id love to see the polls moved to the forum section of the website. i've missed every poll so far i think because its at that homepage area. i was just about to make a suggestion having watched that live stream to goulash that i'd like to see more polls and have them on the forum area.

    Love the new cam...
    just need near drivers models out of car to be visible...
    but still hate the car tips/infos summary on load screen...
    with new ffb "on the fly" we will have a free setup tab...
    put car infos there so if someone missed the infos on load screen can recall them in the new tab (or remove them from load screen and leave car infos only in a setup tab)...
    plus AI daytime lights on based on weather...
    bindable ABS, TC, Turbo keys..
    milk...
    fruit...
    be bashed by @Lord Kunos...
