1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Just saw this. ACC releases today into Early Access for 24,99 EUR and PC2 base game went on sale for 24 EUR (I suppose with the Ferrari DLC yesterday).

On the AI part I respectfully disagree if somebody says AC is not good. Current Assetto Corsa AI is the best I've seen. With right difficulty, I've had better and clean fights than much online servers. Pcars 2 AI is no match. I found Pcars 1 more fun than 2 anyways :) . AI is no good in either though. I've spent a lot on Pcars 1 and found AC always missing something. But with time and updates (specially with the update of Pagani Huyara BC)... AC is my main sim which has valid regional price system and overall best package. I even find AC graphics I can set on max better than the washed up graphics in Pcars 2.

The AI in AC isn't aggressive enough sometimes. Most of the time, once you pass them, they are no longer a threat. Even at 100% difficulty and aggression of 70+, they just seem to give up once you've overtaken them. In that regard, PCars2 AI is much better.

I mean its a failure to try to do more than you can actually are able to do. Ugh..anyway, I don't want to convince you.

This would be even more of a problem in endurance races.

Anyway, RFactor 2 doesn't have a career and the presentation is as bland as it gets, but with the GT3 and endurance pack, considering the AI can race multiclass (I heard so at least) it could be worth it. Decissions!

Exactly. Which is why I hope that aspect of the AI is drastically improved for ACC. The situational awareness of the AI in AC is very good. I like how they can race wheel-to-wheel. I just think they need to be a little better at defending and not give up so easily after being overtaken. That's a must for long races. If they just fade into the background after being passed, then that's a shame.

"One of the best memories I bring back home is about the conversations I had with Stephen Viljoen, Slightly Mad Studios’s CFO and Steve Myers, iRacing’s Vice President and Executive Producer. We had great and funny moments, we shared suggestions, stories and much more, in full respect for the work each other does. That should be a lesson for those people who waste their time to fight around what is the best game out there, instead to enjoy their favourite one"

a good lesson for us all, :)

Top notch and what I expect from Kunos, hence mhy continued support. Shame the same can't be said for a lot of their playerbase which is woefully classless at times.

but I do expect more from the sim community, not like it's full of pre teens and teens like COD and such like.

Indeed, I don't slag off other sims and have most of the top sims RF2/AMS/PC1+2/AC/R3E/ (and now )ACC and enjoy them all (but prefer R3E/AC/PC1+2). Live and let live and all that.

I think that if a company miss sells a product then they shouldn't be surprised if they get flak.
I have PC1 and to be honest it's crap , full of bugs and I have uninstalled it.
As you say, each to their own.

"miss sells" in what way? It does what it says on the tin. And this is PC2 thread not PC1 so yeah........your "lesson" post is a tad ironic.
