1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    People who have played MS Flight Simulator may disagree. For me, flight preparation (programming the route, add the right amount of fuel, taxiing to the runway, selecting flaps for takeoff, etc) is just as fun as flying. :) In a race simulation, I would like all kind of features to simulate a racing event as real as possible. In my opinion, AC has already lots of simulation features in some areas, like advanced setups and laser scanned tracks, but lacks features on other areas, like race starts/endings, pitstops, flags, weather. On driving experience: its already good but it could be improved; try the formula abarth on mugello for example.

    Other types of players probably like drag races or drifting or 3-lap challenges more. Those are not my priorities though.

    Customers are comparing AC (advertised as a next generation racing sim) to other sims in the market, and when they think it's (currently) lacking some features they might naturally do requests on this forum. It's up to the developers to select which requests are important/feasible and which are not. Of course AC is not finished, but it doesn't harm to give the devs constructive feedback. IMO. ;)

    I'm not going to quote, but rF2 demo went out 4 years ago, and PCars build access started 3 years ago.
    AC is a 10 month-old alfa/beta/whatever creature.
    So let's move on that "fast evolution of others than AC" quote, please.

    Don't know how big fmod is. But it replaces the old sounds, so don't know if it would get that mutch bigger. Hope we can test the release candidate this month. Also no word about the dream pack we supposed to get this month. Hope to see more tuesday.

    They said to release it within a few weeks. In my opinion a few weeks is 2 weeks, so I'm a little disappointed about the lack of updates.

    In eurotruck you can select stable or beta without a password, so if you want stable you select stable, if you want te lastest you select that. Well guess i have to wait till tuesday and see what's comming.

    Few weeks can be also 10 weeks if they are not sure about the release :D Just let them do their job and find another thing to do :D We have a plenty of mods available so you simply can't be bored :D After all we have a solid working MP and I bet you can't be bored with this game :) Do you remember how long did it take to have MP? :D It was postponed so many times and it was "just" a MP :D Now think how long does it take to "remake" whole AC and test it? :eek: I bet you understand them now why they said few weeks :)
